My grandad mirtaculously survived a mass bombing, during WWII, while he was prisoner in Germany, working in a military factory with other Russian prisoners. From what I understood from his war letters, he was one of the few survivors of the bombing. We discovered his war letters only many years after he died, through an old military report. He never told his stories...We didn't really know what he went through during those years. If my grandad didn't survive that day, I wouldn't be here...

These guys are brave for sure, but they aren’t going to break through the Russian defensive belts. The Russians are holding important territory in Ukraine and then letting the Ukrainian soldiers destroy themselves trying to attack. The Russians are maintaining a “security zone” that’s miles from the first strong belt of defenses. They have no soldiers in the security zones. They use hundreds of drones to observe the battlefield 24 hours a day and when they see something worth hitting they blow it up with artillery, rockets and missiles from miles away. Not to mention the fact that Ukraine has no air power at all. The news is lying to everyone. The Ukrainians are being massacred and burning through a whole generation of men. If Ukraine is going to survive as a country they need peace now. Just look up a few videos from colonel Douglas Macgregor and You’ll see exactly what I mean.

The truth is that this is probably the best chance Ukraine has at gaining back their territory. Depending on who wins the US elections support from their #1 provider of weapons and cash/credit might slow or even stop. So like it or not the offensive will need to speed up. A lot of these guys are veterans. Just because the Iraqi insurgents, the Taliban and AQ, and ISIS didnt have massed artillery guns doesn't mean that they aren't veterans of being shelled. Both Iraq , Afghanistan, and the battle against ISIS featured significant artillery threats. They were just employed in different ways. Driving around Iraq in 2004 as IED bait, hoping to not hit a daisy chained 120mm artillery IED was not a whole lot different aside from it being buried where you couldn't see it.
The fact that these guys are volunteers is amazing.

@@ek8710 Awful sound, sounds like something you shouldn't recover from. My old man has had two collapsed lungs in the past from broken ribs piercing his lung in accidents. They jam a giant needle/syringe into your lung to suck all the fluid that builds up in your lung while it's deflated. He said it was the most single painful thing he's ever been through, and he's been through the wars and been through some painful sht. The first time was about 25+ years ago, he had another just a couple of months ago after from falling from a motorcycle and he said it wasn't as painful this time, he's maybe just used to it now after going through it once already. Sometimes they also have to snap a rib to get the needle in too. It's a nasty thing to go through whatever the case so glad the dude is on the mend.

@@Tokio_Tsu Collapsed lungs are surprisingly easy to treat and you can survive pretty long with, the process of deflaing the lung is fckin awful though, a huge plunger like syringe with a huge needle on the end of it has to be stuck into the lung, with force to break through the lung and then air pumped into the lung through it to reflate the lung. My dads had two in his life and survived both, but said it was the single most painful thing he's ever experienced an he completely snapped his leg in half as a child, but these guys are tough af and have experienced alot of injuries now so probably have more resistance than my dad to pain and probably have been through more painful injuries too. Anyway I think the dudes more lucky that hole in his neck didn't rip his jugular vein into shreds if it was just an inch or two lower, there's no surviving that, more chance surviving a bullet to the head.

Excellent vid, as always! Thanks!👍👍 Two questions: (a) The sound of small arms fire has abated & you noted that that Ukrainians were digging in. Did the Ukrainian unit being 'rescued'/'supported' by the foreigner unit intentionally break contact with the Russians, or were the Russians ordered to retreat (and to give space to their artillery), or was there another reason? 🤔 (b) Finally, it looked like the WIA (over-pressure/perhaps shrapnel?) who was quite close to Arnie may have had a Canadian flag patch. Is that correct? If so, my prayers for my fellow Canadian! Wishing him a rapid & complete recovery!🙏 Slava Ukraini !!!✊
