THANK YOU!
The content on this channel is fantastic! Need a video like this for calves!
this channel is such a goldmine
Great exercise recommendations, especially the little pause during the eccentric on the neutral grip curl.
I really like the way this was filmed and edited and the information was on point. Subscribed.
Dude...Josh...that tip with wrist roller on bands on the barbell is genius. It's Popeye time now. By the way, I figured out how to use regular handle-bands to do pullovers. Not sure if you've done a video on that yet, but it takes all the tension off the pullover when your arms are back on the bench and max tension as you contract. I've been training for so long it's hard to surprise me, but these tips right here were truly new. Thanks for making these videos and writing your books!

Thanks John! I have done the pullover with a dumbbell and band (with vide) I did what you are referring to in my garage last week! AWESOME STUFF
Man great little tidbits in this video I don’t have fat grips but I’ll definitely try the other stuff that idea of using the squat rack for the roll ups was really ingenious! Thanks keep posting videos man you got some good stuff !
Awesome work out!! Definitely will do this forearm workout. Hope you continue with this segment. Thank you!!!

I think this might be the first fitness video I’ve actually dropped a like on. I’ve looked at other forearm videos before, but none of them really interested me that much. My forearms have always seemed to lag even though I do a fair bit of heavy deadlifting. The pump I got from the barbell wrist roller is phenomenal and by far the best pump I’ve ever gotten from any movement. Period. I’m really looking forward to seeing what other content comes out as well. Great stuff!

I once read a book called Bare Kills about all the different ways to dispatch an adversary while unarmed. If I recall correctly the entire first chapter was dedicated to training the forearms.
Thanks for the ideas
That grip roll technique using the bar was smart
YES! been waiting for you to drop something about forearms! Been wanting to get mine to 15.5-16" in the next 6 months or so. God bless you, sir. Great content as always

Subscribed purely because of the wrist roll bar setup - fucking genius idea. Used to do this with a normal wrist roller but it cained my front delts before my forearms so this is ideal. Nice one!

Thank you boys!
Direct forearm work is a must .. I was pulling in the high 300s for working sets and I had skinny forearms Started doing a variety of curls , extensions , gripping etc .. my forearms frew half an inch in a few weeks !
A broom handle or piece of dowel a with rope tied on and a weight attached to the other end of the rope is also very effective. You roll it up then back down.
You know what really builds your forearms swinging a hammer all day
Great video on forearms.

As an old guy with a high mileage carcass I tend to use the fat grips and the wrist roller , I had make my own from scaffolding pole and paracord but it works for me and saves the Indian club forearm lol

Wrist roller i just take a thin rope (like 3 meters) and tie it to a stick and a 5kg on the other end and then just stand on my porch and roll it up and down :)
Gracias
Thanks for posting proper old school training and not that tourniquet training that's popular these days.
wish i could just watch this youtube video on my bed and get his forearms after finishing this video
Awesome
Ack ack-ack-ack-ack....... good stuff!
1:08 cute kid behind you
Two people can train curls with the exact same weight and form and one will get more forearm development and the other more biceps developement. I tend to not get much forearm development training biceps. To correct this, I've been using fatgrips the past few months, and it helps. But something I started doing a couple weeks ago that I really like is Farmer Carries with kettle bells (no straps) for 10 minutes at the end of each workout. I'm basically replacing 10 minutes of cardio with something that equally burns calories, but also builds grip, core and in my case, weak rhomboids all at the same time. I basically walk around the gym until my grip gives out then grab lighter kettle bells, not resting more than 5 seconds in each transition. It exposes your weaknesses and then strengthens them. Where do you feel it, that's where you are weak? Actually, a lot of elbow issues are due to a weak grip.

Legit question. Can I do these without fat grips? Also what are the rest times between sets?
@Josh Bryant Can the strap(wrist roll) be bought out in town(ie. Big 5,Dick’s) or on-line?

Can we do it without the fat grip if not available?
Can you close a COC 3?
Now my fingers are in insane pain
HAIL TO THE KING !!
I would not want to shake hands with this guy.
Legit question: How do you pull these workouts off without killing your grip for the rest of the week?

Mark S. your forearms recover well from what i understand, similar to calves. I use my forearms for a living (Carpenter) and also train my forearms every time i go to the gym and they are never fatigue even when pushing them really hard.
Love this video. I have three questions: What is the strap-looking device (beginning at approx. 3:17) called? Where can I get one? How do you rig that up so it works properly?

Its a bootleg wrist roller if you have a band, rack and dumbbell works great!
