These muscles are largely involved with flexion and pronation. The superficial muscles have their origin on the common flexor tendon. The ulnar nerve and artery are also contained within this compartment. The flexor digitorum superficialis lies in between the other four muscles of the superficial group and the three muscles of the deep group. This is why it is also classified as the intermediate group.
Pain in different place of your arm can be caused by a lot of factors. But if pain is located on your muscle there is a big chance it`s a tight spot or triggerpoint. Armwrestling involves a lot of same movements from gripping (wrist and finger flexion). Any kind of moment that has been overdone can cause muscles to get tight. In this video we are showing some ideas about how to do self massage on your forearm flexor muscles using specific equipment and using things you can find in almost any gym. If your forearms get tight try these and leave a comment did it help.

Very useful thanks, it’s helping already. I train a lot on rings and my forearms have been hurting the past 3 weeks. I also suggest a tool called roll recovery, I found it really good for the forearms

I’ve had forearm tightness/ elbow pain/ tennis/ golfer elbow for a while. It’ll flare up with pressing or curls, so should I try to just stretch and massage my forearms and stop lifting or do these massages before/after my workouts?

Loove this content man, helps out a lot. If you max out for your forearms and bench, how many workouts do you think you should use to recover before going heavy again in a 3 workouts/week format?

Rob Sous if you just out of a deload you can return to your regular training without waiting, if you max out in between the mesocycle, just take a light session after the max rep training and you can return to your regular workout, and if you max out just at the end of a mesocycle, well, you have to deload or you will go to nonfunctional overreaching.

Whatever the tendon or muscle on my ulna is constantly hurts no matter what I do. How do I go about fixing that? Arm continues to get stronger just can’t work it out at 100% and is sore for 3-4 days after a good practice. Hurts especially bad when it comes to squeezing and/or hand workouts
