When I was taking off the rear bolts, one of the captured nuts inside the frame came loose and was spinning. Made the job really fun. Thanks for your videos, it really helped me while doing the transmission fluid and filter/rebuilding most of the front end parts.

Sorry to hear that I know that's going to happen to me especially as they keep getting older. Luckily in Oklahoma rust isn't a huge issue

Med Tec67 There was actually no rust. It’s lived it’s life in Arizona and Southern California. The other bolt actually came out fairly easy, no problems. I thought this one was the same way until I noticed the nut spinning. I had to wedge a pry bar against the nut to loosen and tighten the bolt, luckily it worked.

If it wasn’t for the seized bushing issue, getting that k-frame out would be really straight forward. Thanks for putting up the videos. Can’t wait to see the others.

Yup if they just put on some anti seize at the factory this job would be super simple

I'm literally doing this right now to a 2020 transit in my shop and was going to use the pressure and weight from the subframe to separate the lower ball joints. Also hoping you have good luck with the subframe bolts

Does the 2010 ford transit and 2010 ford transit connect use the same rack and pinion?

Note to self, don't buy a Ford transit if I ever buy another van. I think I'm sticking to a chevy express even if it only comes in a low roof model. The next one I want is a 2.8l diesel, but might have to sacrifice the mpg for a gas model that can handle winter temps in Michigan.

What's the name of that blue clip you used to block the steering hose?
