Ford Transit Mk6 Won't Start - Click Click Click [An Epic Movie]

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

The Ford Transit Mk6 Van must be cursed. It is giving me a lot of grief but I have turned this video into an epic movie as it was an epic day trying to get to the bottom of the non starting problem.

The amount of trouble a simple battery can cause. I change my battery regularly for just these kinds of things. The cost of a battery is low, the cost of being stranded even just in your wasted time is much higher. Glad you got it sorted in the end!

Same here. I drive a diesel and the battery gets changed every 5 years. Always sounds happier with a new battery plus old batteries put a strain on the alternator which is an expensive item.

Seriously this has been one of the best videos I have watched on you-tube....Drama(locking the key`s in), villainy(drilling the lock out) and romance "(are you all done love?)" I watched it from start to finish and every time you closed the door I was thinking open the van window!!! I locked myself out of my T300 twice just after I bought it by hitting the inside door handle with my leg and only ever been saved because of the open window ;)

This is a really good video. I'm having intermittent start-click issues on my Transit. Replaced the battery, cleaned the battery connectors... both times, it seemed to resolve the problem but it just comes back. I was wondering if it might be an issue with the starter motor, butI hadn't the first clue how to remove and test it. Your video gave me the answer.

Reminds me of yesterday and dropping the fuel tank from my Renault trafic to change the fuel sender. All was going well then spent an hour trying to get the screw cap back on top of the tank that secures the sender in place. There were even helpful arrows showing where the thread starts. It was a really simple thread but coupled with a spring loaded fuel sender and time slipping away I was glad to get the thing done. ☺

Martin just getting the chance to catch-up on your channel. I thought it was only me that had luck like your having on that van. Remember to try and laugh or you will end up crying with frustration. The starter is away on my van too think I’ll just leave it now just in case I get pooed (shit) on with a bird as that’s all you would need right now lol.

What a pain Martin, I've had that before and jump leads don't work with a dud battery.

Great video martin. Did you not hear me screaming at the screen "change the battery" lol. Always open the side window like i do when you have lock problems lol. Cheers, Jeff.
