Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Avoid buying a cheap broken Mustang with high oil usage or suspension problems if you have already bought one then you can use this as an owner's guide on what to look out for. Avoid the mistakes of finding a Mustang S550 for sale as a track car or fast daily only to have large bills and spend more time looking on an S550 Mustang forum for ways to fix your car than driving it. You may be reading evo mustangs reviews or Australian Mustang review outside of America and want to buy one of your own. The Ford Mustang review 2017 has made some believe this is the best year to buy, we answer in our guide the Mustang cons across the model years to help make your decision. This buyer's guide covers the Ford Mustang from 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 in all trims from GT to Mach 1 or Ecoboost and Shelby. Ford Mustang S550 owners may also find our guide useful and informative as we list common faults and problems to keep a look out for.
The Mustang has some known faults and problems to be avoided and with both the Mustang Mach E and 2024 Ford Mustang now taking the press attention it could be a great time to buy an S550 Mustang.

The BMW M3 with a V8 engine is already a modern classic and with the chance of a naturally aspirated V8 M car looking unlikely to ever appear again this is almost certain to become a future a classic.

    Original owner of a '15 GT. So far only the brake pedal stop pad crumbled, putting into limp mode (while on an elevated expressway). Had a rattle that would occur before the engine warmed. Going full synth as silenced it. The quotes of bhp should be considered crank hp. One can see dyno tests that show that. My '15 S550 is 380 hp at the wheels.

    Got a 2015 Gt with the 34000 miles on it 4 years ago. It’s now at 88000 miles and it’s been very reliable. Problem 1: Had the evap purge valve go out a couple years ago. Replacement part was $40 and easy to fix myself. Problem 2: Brake light sensor in the brake pedal assembly broke to pieces after months in hot weather. Got an identical part from Toyota for I think $16 and also easily fixed it myself as well. Problem 3: Mine does have the “coyote tick” but it has not cause any issues or codes. I drive it every day. Modded it and raced it a lot too. I can’t recommend it enough

    ‘19-S550 owner here. Never had any recalls. However… Here is the list of issues I had with mine. Bought new in April of ‘19. September of ‘19 passenger windshield wiper motor quit working and needed replaced. December ‘19, drivers lower seat cover needed replaced due to manufacture defect. 8 clips to hold the bottom seat cover in place and I only had 3. March ‘20 service engine light came on. Fuel purge valve needed replaced. (Common issue since the conception in’15)- why ford never made a permanent fix is beyond me. April ‘20- car was inspected and found that both right side upper and lower tie-rods needed replaced. June ’21 - paint bubbling on hood. Manufacture defect. Ford replaced the entire hood (don’t know why they just didn’t pay for a full strip and respray is beyond me). May ‘22 - timing gasket cover leaking. (Another common issue with these cars since ‘15. Again.. why Ford never made a permanent fix is beyond me). And finally…. April ‘23 - timing gasket (yes you are reading this right) failed again and needed replaced and resealed. Also the valve cover gasket failed and was leaking. Replaced and extra bonding sealant was applied. Also needing replaced at the same time was the trunk opening gasket seal. Open my trunk only to find a pool (and I’m not exaggerating) of water in my trunk’s spare tire compartment. The trunk opening gasket and the “drain plugs” inside the spare tire compartment were cracked and starting to degrade. 1st vehicle I have ever owned where the spare tire compartment has drain plugs to remove water.😡. All in a vehicle that is just a little over 56K. I am the original owner and never beat on my car and do the normal fluid changes and required maintenance. Beautiful car, never left me stranded. All repair work was done either with the basic 3 year warranty, or my extended warranty. 50/50 on if I would ever own another mustang. I kinda thought problems like this would arise around the start of 80K on upward. Not on a vehicle that wasn’t even a year old when the 1st problem started. So future potential new Mustang owners , if you buy used or the new ‘24, please take the time and read my review and pass along. You may never experience any of these issues I had, but it’s a good reference to have in the event something pops up. Have fun, enjoy your Mustang like I have and drive safe. Owner of a ‘19 Velocity Blue S-550 ecoboost.

    I have a 2020 with the 10r80 and I get a whining noise in idle and it goes with rpm’s it seems. Supposedly it’s normal and I see a lot of videos with it. As far as “ticks” there’s not really a tick just some engine noise it seems like but you barely hear it

    Michigan here.. my 21 gt has a crazy braking issue... when the car is going slow like in parking lots or creeping in traffic at a light the brakes will grab hard with little peddle pressure. They will also grab hard and sometimes lock up in the front at speeds under 20mph when the car downshifts.. this is for the 10 speed automatic trans.

    so is there any major difference from 2015 to 2016 mustang 5.0 ?

  • @themilesdriven

    @themilesdriven

    24 күн бұрын

    The 5.0-liter underwent some changes between the 2015 and 2016 models but they are all minor. Horsepower remained the same. The core differences are that the 2016 model saw minor tweaks in the variable camshaft timing system and optimized the cylinder head design for better airflow. The 2016 also revised the exhaust system which altered the sound. The 2016 also added better cooling to help sustain performance even on longer drives or track driving. I think there is also a software change that updated ECU to fine tune throttle response for smoother performance. I’m not sure if this was done in all markets for 2016 though. Core engine components remained the same 👍
