FYI I sat in a Ford Maverick. I'm 6'4" over 250 lbs. When I put the drivers seat in the position that I'm comfortable, no one over 5' could sit in the seat behind me. I ordered one by it's for myself and wife. Mostly myself. Just giving you some info these guys aren't.//Some of these reviews are making the interior larger than it is.

Yeah when you look at it up close the back seats would be small for large guys

Isn’t always true Depends on cars and individual car seats.

well that makes the under seat storage useless. hope they make a 60-40 split...keep the driver side the 60 and the 40 side the tiny side that's take up by the battery on the hybrid

@@iSaucetin I had the same issue. I ended up buying a 97 F150 with 112k on it from a guy in his 90s. Paid $6K for it, which was high, but it was better than the $22K a dealer wanted for a 2011 with the same mileage… only downside is the gas mileage, lol.

I wish I could. That truck was only at the dealership for 4 hours that day. When my truck gets delivered I'll measure it. Might be a while though.

Can you place a car seat in the center?

I'm pretty sure the tether anchors are only behind the side seats. My Maverick actually comes in about a week! I'll try it and respond again.

Yeah sorry about that. I was just excited to get a video out. That was the main thing I wanted to check for myself. Just got a lift kit in from Ford Ranger Lifts. My Maverick is being built this week.

I plan on putting my car seat in the middle. My kid is 3 and she likes to stretch her legs. The step in height reminds me a lot of the 2012 MKX I had.

Personally I would Pick up a 04-08 f150 supercrew w a bad engine and a good body from the south for about 2k then swap in a brand new, fully updated 5.4 3v for about 7k. Worst case scenario you have to throw a dif at it or tranny eventually, but with new cars one is gonna fail before 100k anyway. Around Half the cost and twice the truck of the Maverick at the end of the day

You're talking about an engine swap like it's no big deal. That's a big job even if you're mechanically inclined and have the space to work.

@@curiosityredpill7030 you can get an engine installed with warranty for right around 7k. That is the point. Paying Someone to do it you still save money.

looks like a future okayish used car, likely plagued with odd issues
