Great video, the muck to the back of the engine gearbox case will probably be the high pressure fuel pump gasket leaking oil. Common issue on these engines.
Absolutely top video, thank you!!! I've been looking everywhere for a how to video of the Kuga service! Video was very clear and hope I find your video of the brakes being serviced too

Brilliant tutorial, thank you - fuel filter housing however should be thoroughly cleaned of old fuel and deposits/debris before having the new filter fitted.

I’ve seen on other KZread videos, after fitting the diesel filter, it’s been said you need to bleed the system of air that wouldn’t seem of been the case on this video
what is the spray you use
Hi mate great video was going to book my 2017 Kuga st-line 2.0 diesel in at the garage but after watching this have decided to do it myself have you got a link for the service kit on eBay and when changing fuel filter does it need bleeding thanks

Brilliant, no link sorry but just searched ebay and went with a company selling the genuine kit including oils
Hi great video I service my focus 14 plate but I have recently bought a kuga too and this dosent look too dissimilar apart from the fuel filter. My only question is do you pull the fuel through the filter i had to on the focus but I didn't see it in this video or does it not need it cheers

This system was self bleeding on the Kuga. The focus diesels are a nightmare!

Are your fuel lines connected fully? This is the only thing that id suggest would habe any impact on poor running

Дизельные форсунки на замену. Неправильная замена топливного фильтра😢. Грязь из отстойника испортила форсунки.
What about the transfer box oil, Ford say it’s a sealed unit but many people say it should have an oil change every 25/30000 miles?
@WilliamMurfitt

I’ve not heard of this as was told it was sealed but I will check in the next service interval which will be 90,000 miles
Great video, I have the same car, does yours eat the petrol aswell?

No, not at all this vehicle is fantastic on fuel. This is the 2.0 diesel model which may be a reason why? A good service may aid to reduce the fuel used, and maybe introduce an injector cleaner also
What is the spray you use that seems to make everything vanish 👍🏻

Brake cleaner, it cleans and evaporates
Im looking at getting a kuga. How is fuel consumption around town? What year model and engine size is yours?

So this is the st-line 2.0 tdci as its genuinely brilliant on fuel.my parents travel about and are always raving about the fuel consumption. I have been looking at upgrading our car to a kuga also based on my parents experiences

You can buy genuine parts online via eBay or “shop.ford” alternatively main dealers supply new parts too

@@WilliamMurfitt No it doesn't, but my Ghia 2.0L tdci, was fitted with an underrated alternator new from the factory, fortunately I realised this before fitting the third one, which if I remember correctly is a Nippon denso, strangely enough...... It's done 114k miles now so.....🤞 ATB, Mitch.
Hello mate changing FUEL filter does it need to bleed to removed air?
@WilliamMurfitt

On the focus mk2 it does this appeared to have been ironed out for the kuga model and no bleeding required that I find
