Thanks for the video, my problem is my sync with nav doesn’t let me connect a device via Bluetooth. Can resetting one of these fuses work? I tried the sync fuse and checks out good

It could work. Try resetting all of the fuses and hopefully that will do it.

I have sound but my radio display isn’t working, radio and cd player work correctly but no display. What do you think it is?

Most likely the radio / climate display failed. It can be replaced separately from the radio unit. Before replacing make sure your dashboard lights are not completely dimmed out as that will cause blank screen

Can I remove/replace these fuses without removing the battery?

You can try checking all of the fuses. Then try disconnecting the battery for 15 min and see if that resets it. If not you might need a software update and that can only be done by ford dealer. Happy New Year to you as well

I don't think there is a specific fuse for microphone. try removing and reinserting SYNC fuse and see if that resets it

You can try checking all the fuses, but if only touch screen is not working then most likely there is a problem with the radio unit itself

So I did this, got sound out of speakers for half a song then no music. I turned off my ignition, started truck again and had sound, then went away again. Should I just replace all the fuses mentioned, none of them looked bad, I just removed and put back in.

Hmmm this doesn't sound like fuse problem. Maybe more like ground or wire issue. Or a problem with the radio unit itself. I would try removing the radio unit and checking the wires in the back

Thank you so much this worked! Radio function would not allow me to turn on/off. With your detailed instructions I wrote / circled the list of different fuses to troubleshoot. The fuse #2 (sync module)was the culprit. First, I just made sure the engine/ or the key was in the off position ,took out the fuse waited about 15-30 seconds re-installed the fuse and voila !!!!! I turned on the truck and the power button worked. Sound back to normal, concert level I mean ! Nice game and Loud! Yay! Keep up the good work! Thank you saved me $$ and time that’s $$

If fuses are good next step would be to pull out the radio unit and inspect wiring and electrical connections behind it. then inspect all wiring at the driver door jamb behind the rubber sleeve. Unfortunately this radios quite often fail and have to be replaced or fixed (loose connections resoldered)

You're welcome. You will have to pull the fuse out and visually inspect it. There is a wire inside of it, if that wire is broken or cracked the fuse is bad

try checking the wiring at the door jam behind the rubber sleeve. Often speaker wires get broken there. If not that, it could be the radio issue

Hmmm if I had to guess I would say that you need a software update which would have to be done through a ford dealership. Try giving them a call. That fixed lots of my issues with bluetooth on ford vehicles

the bluetooth will connect on my phone and play music... then suddenly stops and works back again randomly. Sometimes it won't work at all! any ideas?

Sounds like a lose connection somewhere in the back of the radio or it needs a software upgrade which is common fix on Fords

Checked all the fuses and they looked to be in working order but the head unit works but the radio and sound sync nothing works sound wise and also cant set the clock and when you hit the eject cd button it doesn't seem to want to stop ejecting, Please help I cant stand driving with headphones lol

Most likely you will have to replace the radio unit. You can try pulling it out and checking the connections in the back, but by the sound of it you will need a new unit.

Mine never worked so I just put a touch screen stereo on it, and it just looks way better and I still kept all factory controls

Damn unfortunately for me, my radio is a 900 dollar fix, because my body control module (interior fuse box) needs to be replaced. I was begging for the fuse to be in the engine bay fuse box. But nope. Of course, it's the body control module smdh
