Ford Escort LX 1.8 TD Walkround
It's the return of the car reviews and in this video we take a Walkaround of a 1994 Ford Escort LX 1.8 Turbo Diesel.
For me the Mark 5 and 6 Escort bring back a lot of memories of growing up, so it was good to get back into a Escort and show you around.

I have been very very tempted to buy it.
I've been looking forward to this one. Great video Davy, very informative. A nice trip down memory lane as I think we all probably know someone who had a mk5 or 6 Escort back In the day. The 5b from memory didn't seem to be around very long before the Mk6 came along. My friend's dad had a really basic 3dr mk5b which was later swapped for a Mk6 Finesse. The dashboard in the Mk5 was a really nice simple, ergonomic layout and this LX model was well equipped for the time.

Thanks Mark, in my parents street alone we had 3 Mark 5 Escorts all over the road from each other at one point, it's a car I know really well as I used to (maybe still have somewhere) all the owners manuals, Audio manuals, press releases and brochures, I was the child that got excited when my dad turned up in a Mark 6 escort with five doors as we always had 3 doors until my sister came along. Not going to lie the temptation to part cash for this escort is real, but I also want to try a Mark 6 and a Zetec engine.

@@scottishcarenthusiastsandtrain Nostalgia is a powerful thing. My Friend's Dad's first Finesse had the 1.6 zetec and was pretty nippy. He later had the same trim but In the estate body with the 1.8 TD engine. Both were very late into Mk6 production as the Focus was on sale by that time.
