Great truck...a lot like my '93 Bronco XLT! LOVE that you took time to love up your dog and that you obviously pay attention to his wants (encouraging him to jump in). Those cool slide in magnetic rings are something I'd not seen before. Thanks for the video and hope you and yours are well!

Awesome video! I've got a 1990 bronco and the hard part about these trucks is they're just big enough that you want to be able to haul stuff with it but it's still an SUV not a truck so you don't have tons of space. Also sucks to be limited on roof storage with the fiberglass top but in the end I'm way too attached to sell my bronco for a more practical truck.

I’ve ordered my Accuride sliders. 600 pound hold. Bother sides locking. Not the cheapest but hey I went bigger for more stability for something not even close to testing that weight. Just a stove and some small pieces of plywood for table. So as far as weight I’m ok. So 2 sets of sliders orders for a TOTAL pull out of 120 inch. Can’t wait to get started! Your video so awesomely explained. Great work!

Hey brother, a way you can save space and increases your kitchen accessibility would be by mounting the kitchen set up on the tailgate so as you bring the tailgate down there be your kitchen. Great work man keep at it.

I see what you’re saying, however I like to sit on the tailgate a lot. Especially when I am camping. Also it’s difficult to secure anything to the tailgate because the rear window is encased in there with it down.

I would look at Adventure Trails Kitchen set up. That is what I am basing my Kitchen set up off of. It is very similar to what you built. Thank you for the video this gave me a better idea on how to build mine!

96 Bronco XLT owner here. THAT is sick dude. Question for ya... I don't have a retractable cargo cover and I'm not paying the $$$ they go for on ebay. Can you think of a simple way to cover the cargo area?

I suggest attaching a strap or closer for the lid of the ice chest too. You may be able to attach a couple angles to attach to the wood its on too. For off road everything in a Bronco and others must be strapped down and in cases preferably. I have a Bronco I have done a prerunner build too 18"front and 20"rear on King shocks. The transmission, transfer case, gears with lockers, glass fenders and hood, alternator, lights, lots of plating gusseting, clearing etc.. It is a lot of fun fast on rough roads over whoops fast and smooth. Having a 408 stroker balanced and blueprinted with AFR heads etc.. right now. They are great for building and great as they are. Here is a little clip from a 150 mile off road run my GF and I did. The Mojave Road from Laughlin Nevada to Barstow California is historic and great. kzread.info/dash/bejne/fqipudaugpXXeco.html Nice woodwork you did I have done a lot in my house. That looks useful and strong.

Definitely, I actually mention in the video I need to get a cooler with handles so I can strap it down. That sounds like an awesome build! Would love to go the coil over route in the future!

  • @brianbirc

Auto Existence I know you mentioned that I was just saying the lid needs to be well secured as well and you could attach somethings to that cooler for the time being if need be. Coil overs are great with 2 springs of different compression. You will need a tall tower or engine cage for the top mount. A bypass reservoir shock like sway away, fox or king type with your coil works great too. The stock shock/coil tower with a gusset vertical and a tube that arches up and back to the frame for a taller shock is great too. I suggest the cut and tuned beams with the long radius arms mounted with heim joints. Buying them plated and gusseted or doing that part yourself or with help is a big plus too. Are you a member of FSB Forum? (full size bronco) Bronco speed in there is great for information and it has lots of great info of any need for the BRONCO. It is good that you are doing work to it. The more you know the better off you are off road. Keep at it.
