Driving those trucks low on diesel is asking for trouble.

Hello, I’ve seen many of your videos! Enjoy them! Makes everything easy!! Can I get some help? My coworker changed his glow plugs on a 2000 7.3 an after he changed them all he buttoned it back together and has no power! It fires up but he’s getting no boost on his gauge, has a rough idle. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks for the video. As another mentioned you get to this from UNDER the truck. I'll tell a funny on myself.... spent a few minutes looking around from the top wondering "geesh... perhaps my inability to even find the sensor should indicate I'm not qualified to change it??". 307,XXX miles on my 99 and I'm hoping for at least another 100k least. Bought this truck from late father in-law years ago and he'd left the spare CPS in the glove box for me. It was a nice reminder of what great man he was!

Thank you for the video. You helped me do this on my own. My mechanic wanted to charge me way more doing other stuff to fix this issue. You rock

Thanks a ton Makuloco, just had to change out the one on the family F-250, different position, but certainly took your tips on the greases and cleaning out the bore. Glad to have people like you on youtube. Keep it up!

Great...thanks for video. It helped me once I figured out you were underneath the truck, not coming from the top...ha. Getting it back on was harder than I thought....but I just got it in a little and tightened up the bolt and let the bolt pull it the rest of the way in. Obviously, first time diesel owner, but loving it!

I recently got my first work truck, 2003 ford f250 with 7.3 diesel, and of course the problems start happening once I buy the truck (how it usually works, don't it?) But you know what? I had the symptoms of needing to replace this part, and I just did it in about 30-40 minutes because of how simple and easy your video made it. We'll see if it ultimately fixes the problem, but either way, your video helped reduce some of the headache I've been having getting this old girl to keep running. That right there, is worth a lot to me. I just subscribed. Keep up the good work man.

Thanks for uploading the video. I am having shut-off issues on my 1996 7.3 with 307,000 miles about once a week so I bought the cmp sensor last night but I wasn't certain how to replace it until I watched your video.

Awesome video👊I just bought the sensor past weekend to change today having issues getting it to turn over with new batteries, RPMs jump 400-500k when truck will not crank but when crank it does it move RPMs until fire up after glow plugs warm up, hope this sensor helps my issue! only when cold past few months has issued been but also has 420,000 miles four-wheel drive XLT supercab Merry Christmas!
