Its ALIVE Mr Pete!! That thing runs smooth!! Those carbs can be a pain, I saw the tappy tap there to double check that float 😉😁 Ahhh, the power steering 😥😥 I sure hope it goes better for you than mine did😳😳 I was able to remove the whole box without pulling the tank and cowl, just took the cowl loose and lifted it. But you should be able to slide that power valve up and off for the seals, I cant wait to follow along for that!! So far dads "other" box is holding up on his 3000 🤞🤞 Hope you and the wife have a great trip, and look fwd to the next segment on the little ford!! Thanks Nelson! The steering shaft moves up and down a bit. I want to check that out. We'll find out!

Well, you got it, for the most part 👍 Maybe find some paint when you take it back apart?? I assume the steering is very similar to the 135 Massey.. they can be a big pain in the butt!! But, if it's just the seals, that's not too hard, just gotta remove everything around it... Enjoy your trip Pete!!

Good job Pete my gas tractor days are over! My wife thinks I have a tractor problem and she says I need to slow down on the tractor restorations 🤔I don’t think so 😃

Steering leaks are a problem but show the step by step repair if possible. I have two that need repair also. I’m so cheap l took a 7/8 bolt cut it short and drilled it and threaded it to fit shift lever now I have custom shift knobs.yahhoo
