Hi & Welcome to Dans Diagnostics.
Today I have been dressing a 2.0l Duratorq DW10 engine with the plastic sump and decided to create this video showing how to correctly time the fuel pump.
In the video I show the timing markings on the pump itself as well as the cam sprocket holes and what each is for and where to align both cam timing and fuel pump timing.

Hi, I just did mine as it had a leak, only took to top cover off and pinned it now just wondering if I should have made sure the bottom lined up aswell. Like 180 out might cause a problem??
Hi, is this the same pump that’s on a 1560cc diesel ford focus 2012, my pump is leaking from the back, can’t you just replace the gaskets? At the back of the pump, great videos Regards

on the old ones you can change just the gasket, on the new ones you need to replace the entire housing, if it is the new one it will start to leak again in a year or 2 so unless its leaking a lot (you have several drops underneath your transmission) there is no point in changing it
