Force Recon to Legacy FC Champion with Chad Robichaux | Mike Drop - Episode 80

Shop www.mikeritlandco.com for Performance Dog Food, Treats, Apparel & more!
Chad “Robo” Robichaux’s reputation proceeds him wherever he goes. Chad is a former Force Recon Marine and DoD Contractor with eight deployments to Afghanistan as part of a Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) Task Force. After overcoming his personal battles with PTSD and nearly becoming a veteran suicide statistic, Chad founded the Mighty Oaks Foundation, a leading non-profit, serving the active duty and military veteran communities with highly successful faith-based combat trauma and resiliency programs. Chad is also a highly skilled MMA fighter, attaining the rank of 6th best in the world at his prime. He also tells us the unfiltered truth about Afghanistan, and how he founded his non-profit, Save Our Allies, to do something about it. I hope you enjoy this episode!

Looking forward to a Force Recon bubba. Should be a great one. Mike, id love to hear Cole Fackler's story. We heard DJ on VE. This seems like it would be the missing piece of both of their stories. EDIT: Finally got to watch it. This has to be the best interview. Maybe partial because he is a Marine and former TOW Gunner. Amazing life story. As always, I'm glad he escaped the demons and came out on top. Thanks for all you do, Brother. Semper Fi!

Listening to the story of him killing the guy as a police officer has my mind blown....The guy had his 30.30 rifle over his shoulder? Like not shouldered but actually over his shoulder? How the hell does that even work lol. I'm trying to imagine someone holding a 30.30 on their shoulder while also being able to pull the trigger. I've never seen someone come out with a gun over their actual shoulder and actually still be able to shoot it without dropping it. Goes to show that people do weird things and when they have a gun you dont take any chances especially when they are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. What a story. Him saying how he causally looked over at him after eating 11 shots to center mass and just looked at him saying "you killed me" and then falls over and takes his last breath is horrifying... I'm sure he thought about that and probably had trouble processing that as a young man. It sucks when someone like that makes a choice and that choice unfortunately leads to them being killed by you. Like this man said, he was doing everything in his power to try to save his life. The last thing he was thinking about was actually shooting the man, especially after seeing his kids and all the pictures of his family and kids. It's a tough job and like Mike always says we need to FUND the police, not DE-FUND them because these officers need all the training they can get. It blows my mind that police officers barely ever train or have mandatory training... it leads to over weight and out of shape cops and physically weak cops and that leads to them not being confident and shooting sooner then later. Train, train, train, train and train some more.

Nice interview. You might want to speak to anyone about everyones fears. It’s being in jail. Not a cop not a sailor. A county jail deputy in a county that has to fight everyday. And just not the crooks. Try coming to PDX and watching your ass all shift.
