COMMENT: What are you thoughts on the marketing of this ball? Are you more enticed to buy it?

no but more because of the colours. i want to see the ball rotating. i like the concept of making a core for no thumb penetrations. i need SPI to try the idea since my local proshop is mostly storm. if i bought this it'd get drilled like it was any other ball.

It doesn’t directly entice me to buy it. But it definitely peaked my curiosity. And now that you guys have explained it being good for higher dev lower speeds it makes sense, and now I’m enticed to buy one 😅

As I need to replace an old ball drilled with a thumb hole that has been plugged and I bowl two handed I will be giving this a shot for sure

I’m excited for it! It seems like more and more bowlers are two handed anymore so it makes since to have cores designed for that style.

Well, they see the same trend that everybody else sees with two-handed bowlers among the younger ranks. So the marketing makes sense. In reality, I think what this ball does is similar to the Absolute, in which drilling it won't change the core numbers (I'm pretty sure that's part of its design as well). There's obviously no reason a one-hander can't throw it, and if someone is 'put off' by the marketing then...well, they're probably an old fudd that doesn't like Belmonte, and they're very much the minority in the sport.

Looks like the companies are trying out new ideas to remove the core numbers changing upon drilling. This, and before it the Absolute. From what I've seen they both have some similar goals in their core design. Might just be the future of ball tech.

great stuff guys! note that 4.5" DOT to CoG makes this core truly asymmetric! if you are looking for a motion closer to P2, you can try a sym layout in the 2.5-3.0" DOT-CoG range with a similar DOT-PAP.

@@noweanji the layout converter is built for symmetrical balls like trouble maker. putting a strong layout on trouble maker (such as 4.5 or 5.5" DOT to CoG) makes it a very asymmetric core, even though it started sym. kzread.info/dash/bejne/fHyOo9aGidzPnLw.html

Great video, gents. Would you pair this with the DV8 XLR8 in heavier/longer oil conditions?

So I got a new QLED TV I've been watching stuff on KZread and Netflix etc. Trying to see if this TV is worth the price. I've watched a lot of content in 4K HDR, 1080p, regular 4K, etc I have to see this video for being 1080p has great color depth, lighting and blacks. Whatever you guys are doing with the camera it's working! Obviously I love the ball videos too... Keep them up!

I am a full roller do you think the Troublemaker would be a good bowling ball for me and how would you Drilling it and where would you throw it on the lane

The collision is probably my favorite ball. I honestly might drill it up with a different layout just to be more versitile. Also, Jimoo, do you think only partially putting your fingers in your inserts would decrease revs? I do that with my spares, and I can throw reactive at a 10 pin and pick it up. I'd say that my fingers eould be about 1/4 inch inside of the inserts for reference

Good question! Jimoo switched from conventional to finger tip recently. It does not necessarily decrease your rev rate, however, it helps with removing the factor of waiting for the fingers to clear the ball. More control and longevity for the fingers!

Would this ball have too much overlap with the Phaze 2?

This ball just went on sale at my local pro shop. $155 drilled, and my PSO has been jokingly pressuring me to get it. I have an Axiom with a 5 1/4 Pin-to-PAP and a 3 1/2 DOT-to-CoG. Also have a Helios with a 4 5/8 Pin-to-PAP and 3 3/8 DOT-CoG. Is there a layout you would suggest for a medium length/volume house shot?

as two handed bowler. All bowling ball are all the same to me. I am not going to that rabbit hole saying one ball is specialized one thing. Next thing you know it, the next ball would be one finger hole baller.
