Mark Paul use to look just white to me when he was younger but now I could see his Indonesian side.I don't know if it's because his hair was blonde back then or what.

Id like to know why her daughter would be identifying as one. Mixed is mixed and a huge issue in this country that mixed kids have is that they are pressured to choose whatever they "pass" as. My dads mom is Cherokee not so many generations ago my dads mom. Im white skinned. On my moms side my brothers and I are the first gen to be born in the USA. So we have two extremes in the family line. Native and new generation here. My mom noticed there is a huge difference between the focus on race here compared to England for example. Racism exists there but to the level of focus as it is here it doesnt. That isnt just the white people either. I love that this show addresses both ends of that and coming to term with embracing both sides even if not everyone gets it or tries to force you to choose. When people just choose what they pass for then generations lose out on the culture that comes from their families too.

He was trying to keep it real. Dustin was literally Screech to them but without the love. He talked about in many interviews. They weren't kind to him in real life

Dustin was a terrible 'friend'. He was an immature racist misogynistic adult white male. If he wasn't sick and hadn't died, people would blame the cast reboot for leaving him out...still. Dustin was a deeply troubled person who couldn't break into a successful adult career. In order to be highlighted he outed many onset secrets and was chided for it. He got as well as he gave. Hopefully he made peace and found peace before his untimely transition.

So, I didnt follow any of them, closely, but I think Dustin kind of went in a "different" direction for a bit; a darker side. Sometimes people just don't want to go there with you. Everyone's trying to figure out there own lives...pray he's in a happier state..

Aaargh! Tika completely missed the point of the question, Tamron asked, about the script hitting a nerve. Also, she should listen to the words of her lines in the script. It's not ok to pretend to be something you're not. Her child is mixed. She should, proudly, own all parts of who she is. How would it be ok for her to choose to identify as white? That leaves Tika out of the picture, because as soon as she showed up, her daughter would be " outed". Seriously, so many issues.... I mean, I get it. That color thing is generational. Many black children were teased, even within their own families, for " being too dark" or " the darkest one"... It can be very damaging; even to the point where we want to get away from it so bad that we marry someone white and we hope that our mixed race children will identify as white and marry someone white, to complete the "self- inflicted genocide..."

Excuse me but there is no way in hell her daughter could pass for white, and for her to entertain the idea of being ok with her doing that is highly problematic.

Tika totally lost me here. Her daughter is Biracial and should identify as such.
