This is my favorite tune to this hymn - like in "Little Women". There is another version in which the song is sung in a different melody but this is by far the best imo!

This such a lovely song i love john rutter and his music i love looking up to my angel with our Lord above i just have lots one of my family members this year a person close with me a new angel with all my family members i have lost looking down at me i look up to them now in the sky knowing what they are smiling with me and all of our family

This tune is called 'Dix' by W.H. Monk (1823-89) also used with the hymn 'As with gladness men of old'.

The tune is from a hymn originally written by Conrad Kocher, later adapted by William Chatterton Dix's, for a Christmas Carol "As with Gladness Men of Old". There are other tunes used for the song, the one by John Rutter for example. This tune for this lovely old hymn is my favorite. :)
