Loved what you did on your last build and I can't wait to see what you do with this one especially with the extra fuel tank.

Glad you are giving us a quick intro to the goals. I have small goals. I am not as adventurous as you, but you clearly have a lot more experience than I. Good luck! You certainly start from the ground up as I do!

This bike is what the NC750X should have been from the start (and sadly never was). Unfortunately here, in Europe, these changes are not possible, no one will ever authorize anything like this.

I think this is a great idea. For me the engine maintenance i.e. adjustable tappets is a huge plus. Fuel consumption second. The only thing the stock bike lacks is suspension. I have 206000km on mine for commuting but would use it for adventuring if it had the suspension upgrade.

Nice projet - but weight is the same as the new Transalp - especially after you change suspension and wheels. Power is much less which is maybe a killer for many - but for me the ca. 60 horses where enough on the old AT.

Fuel consumption, low centre of gravity, lower seat height and others are some of the features why i chose this platform, low down torque for those moments when i dont need high revs..service intervals etc etc..Its just something about the NC and how it delivers the ride experience which i enjoy..

Awesome, I can safely say the stock NC is definitely not off road, I found out the hard way recently, so whilst the PMS (parked motorcycle syndrome) is in play and the plate in ankle is healing, will be following your build with interest and admiration, go for it👍

Hi there, i do agree with you in all aspects,i love this bike and its ride feeling, fuel efficiency and more...but the bike needed a better suspension from factory, i appreciate you following the build 😀..lots more to come on this NC

Very exciting. I wish my 2021 NC750X could be ridden off-road, I’d love to see how you modify it. I just got a 2023 KLR 650 and find the NC750X has much better balance. Please keep us posted on your modifications!

Looking forward to the build and seeing how I may be able to do this on mine. I have a 2016 NC700X with DCT and ABS. It would be appreciated if you can address NC’s with these features as well as you work through the build. Thanks!

will you be adding an A arm extension for the 18" rear wheel or does it fit with a smaller tire?

Hi,the CRF450 rear wheel wont be installed, the lack of cush drive makes the offset too far left, looking for a Transalp or Africa Twin wheel now 🤔

Hey there frank next time you need to go whit the 750xa abs convert, gees u need the xl700v for that one. Then I’m going to get your conversion kit for myself. And I believe you will need the rubber in the rear wheel for the 700 built u convert now, I think it will be a little harsh on the bike if’s not having the cushion rubbers. But let’s see what happens your way, And I’m pretty sure Honda never will do this, as u said yourself they only want to get dollars .
