Winning the World Cup or Euro has nothing to do with who is better. It's a team sport. If Argentina had beaten Germany in ONE single game that would automatically make Messi a better as a player? And R7 didn't finish the final because of injury so he didn't win it for Portugal, so it's 0-0 between them. And no, Im neither a R7 or Messi fan. I actually dislike both of them because of the whining and diving. But objectively Messi just is the best player ever.

He returned later tho. He never won a World Cup with Argentina, in fact he never won any big tournamant with them. 8:22 The Brazilian national team is one of the most successful national teams in the world. They won the World Cup 5 times and the Confederations Cup 3 times. Upon this game they never won an Olympic medal so Neymar was in years after they won the Olympic tournament. It meant alot for the Brazilians.

This Brazilian gold medal in soccer was the only "Title" which Brazilian National Team never conquered over the years. The reaction of Neymar and the others players, and all fans, were comprehensible.

normally it irritates me when american's don't get it but you guys don't irritate me because you said at the start you may not understand so respect

I respect that they prefaced it too but they should know a little more right? After all, it is a sports channel.

Messi never won a world cup. He in fact never won any trophy (other than an Olympic gold in football that isnt really worth much) with his country Argentina but he won over 20 titles with his club Barcelona.

The England vs France game was at Wembley 3 days after the Paris attacks. The English and French REALLY don't like each other. So the English fans singing the French national anthem was a HUGE show of solidarity with them (and the French were apparently very grateful). It was almost as if we were saying to the terrorists, how dare you hate the French; that's our job! Like how you may argue with your family, but no one else is allowed to slag them off.
