The Hugh Johns interview from this episode is already up on KZread, but here's the full edition of Endsleigh League Extra, covering the fixtures played on November 12 and 13, 1994. It's notable for Gabriel Clarke's excellent report on the possibility of a Premier League second division (considered a major threat at the time) and for the heavy dose of nostalgia used to pad out the programme in the absence of any third or fourth-tier league fixtures that weekend.

Superb upload 👍 You look back and there seems to be passion from the crowd, more enthusiasm from the commentators. I guess these days you can watch any game in the world at a touch of a button. Plus mobile phones always seem to distract fans in stadiums now days. Great memories staying up past midnight on a monday or recording it and watching after school.
I've always wanted to know why these programmes were on at 2 in the morning in my region. I had to record it while I was in bed because I had work the next day .
Forgot about that '2nd Premier Division' and was excited @ the time, but glad didn't occur in hindsight. Anyway, hell of a save from Keller + sad to see Royle's exit, but great to see the return of Pleat. (and Dave Bassett didn't half talk fast) Nice1.👍 Great piece on Hugh Johns. Bless/RIP

Dont recall that premiership 2nd division but aint that the championship essentially that anyway?

No the championship is about the standard it’s always been. Look at the video same kind of rush and kick football
