This is a very nice kit and especially the motor. In my opinion, the 56 Ford pick up is the best looking Ford truck of the 50s

As far as clear coat. I use that "Future Floor Gloss". It works great on ANY paint. You can brush it on, or airbrush it on. Works really well. And with painting bodies, I stray light coats(Multiple) and that seems to work well? Now that's with a can. With an airbrush, it's completely different. But still the same, light coats! For putting in any kind of glass, I use a product I get from Hobby Lobby called "Mod Podge". It goes on easy(brush on)drys clear, clean off your brush with water. Really good stuff. Btw, your videos are amazing man! They give a lot of us hope, who are or where you are at with your building... So again, thank you! And these suggestions I made are only that and nothing more. Trial and error stuff I learned along my way!

Hey, Chris here.......it IS a terrific kit.......I did in fact build it a few months ago & it falls together......no real fit issues at all......you will love the build & the final result!!!!!!! Enjoy the build & I'll be watching the progress. I would say Hobby Lobby for the craft wire you are looking for......most model builders get most of their supplies from there or Michael's crafts......etc.

Super fun kit to build. Mine is white with red interior. Try using some 28 or 30 gauge wire for your plug wires. Alan Spence has a real good diy video. Happy modeling! Thanks for sharing.

The foose is looking great so far great kit you can get parts for kits as long as they have them in stock it takes forever now that they are in Germany

You're absolutely right about those Revell and Revell Germany kits. They are head and shoulders above AMT and Lindberg when it comes to part fitment and overall quality. Moebius is also quite good. In Europe, Tamiya, Fijimi and Aoshima reign. I wish AMT would bring up their game.

Matt, I have had problems with clear coat going a white foggy tone when it is too humid. I don't paint anything now unless it's below about 40% humidity. However I did find that a heat gun or similar will remove most of the fogginess from the clear just don't let it get too hot obviously. And yes I am aware this is an older video just sharing some tips I found out the hard way 👍🦘

Great video!!! For boots I use the wire inside of the old curly cue phone cord. It has black, red, green, and white inside it. Sometimes I'll use X-19 for a wash vrs black panel line accent. Nice Work. I''ll be watching

Plastic bottles work great for making windows.

Looking good! The only issue I have with Revell kits is the wheels. Most of their kits I’ve built have 2 piece wheels without any brake detail, just a solid wheel back.

Yes I can send you a picture. I've been meaning to make a video building one since several have asked. What part of Jacksonville are you at? Im pretty familiar with Jacksonville. I worked with Circle K for a while.

try using a couple coats of Future floor polish on the Mustang windshield, see if it will "gloss" the CA glue fog ... works when used on chrome parts that are fogged by the glue too.

Looking good. Everyone of these I've seen looks great. Looking for ward to seeing what you do with it.

I usually use wire coating(insulation) for boots, from wire two gauges larger than what I use for spark plug wire. You can get it at most electrical stores or hardware stores. Comes in many different colors.

What I do for spark plug boots I use the same wire for the spark plug wire I cut a little peace take out the wire and I get like safety pin just almost the same size as the wire and push it through and kinda widen it up... I order my wires from Ron Coon resins

I have sent, and received email replies for revell parts, supposedly they are on their way. We shall see!

Krylon is the worst paint I bought a can of Satin black to save a few bucks,long story short it didn't save me anything.

Moebius is way superior to REVELL,AMT,MONOGRAM. The other companies Are good but mobius is great
