I wouldn't take this "scenario" advice very seriously. Any evidence to back up your claims? This sounds like a perfect way to develop an unhealthy and obsessive relationship to mundane tasks

maybe not use it for doing mundane tasks like waking up but something important in your life.

@@lored6811 I could definitely be wrong in my reasoning but just because you use a technique that is similar to an OCD symptom in order to stay consistent and build a specific habit that you know is good for you does not mean that you will end up building an unhealthy and obsessive relationship with all tasks.

I’m gonna be honest, this scenario advice really resonated in me. This may sound silly but it’s quite logical to me, so feel free to correct it. When u guys masturbate, either by watching pornography or imagining scenarios in your head, u are really causing your brain to think you are actually having sex with someone. Like otherwise it wouldn’t have this physiological reaction of eyaculation. Then in the same sense this scenario tip could work if you kinda visualise it correctly. It is just a supposition though

while this is mostly bs, i do think its very good to visualize what your future will be like if you dont do that one task consistently, seeing your ideal version in your mind can really help you to start acting like that ideal self that accomplishes all of his goals

I could definitely be wrong in my reasoning but let's examine the facts. While it is true that the advice he gave is similar to OCD symptoms, using these techniques specifically only for building good habits on important tasks will not result in developing an obsessive relationship with all mundane tasks.
