🥢又到了粽子飘香的季节,记得小时候爱吃的五香咸肉粽,里头的馅料非常多,除了五花肉、冬菇、咸鸭蛋,还有一种豆类,个人口感认为它比眉豆更好吃。当时不晓得该豆类的正确名称,只管叫它黄豆。当时对饮食没有深入了解,后来才知道此豆并非黄豆,而是绿豆,是剥了皮的绿豆,市面上称之为“绿豆片”。
💗长大后搬离家乡来到城市,很少有机会吃到家乡味道的咸肉粽,对此念念不忘。这一集,我特地去拜访远嫁他乡的姐姐,记录了五香咸肉粽的制作过程。瞬间,我彷佛回到了老家,感慨母亲不在世的情怀,沉溺在思念之中。
📌我不是美食家,不去点评食物,而是站在另一个角度去欣赏美食,感恩厨师的付出和辛劳,也敬佩传统美食业者的坚持。

🥢In Malaysia, the Glutinous Rice Dumpling is known locally as "Bak Chang," which is derived from the Hokkien dialect. When I was a child, I loved the Five Spice Bak Chang very much. The filling was packed with various ingredients, including pork belly, mushrooms, salted duck egg, and mung bean flakes.
🎉The Five Spice Bak Chang draws inspiration from the renowned Chinese culinary tradition of using a blend of five aromatic spices to enhance flavours. As I grew up and moved to the city, I rarely had a chance to have an authentic taste of hometown flavours. In this video, I visited my sister and got to know the process of making Five Spice Bak Chang.
