🛎色泽金黄、口感酥脆的番薯蛋(福建人也称这种粒状的食物为「枣」)是一种源自于福建泉州的小吃。吉隆坡茨厂街有一档老字号【同心圆番薯蛋】,创业于1973年,不经不觉已经热卖了50年!他们起初卖的是传统油炸番薯片,后来不断改良,制作成球状番薯粒。将薯泥搓成圆形,乍看之下,还未炸的时候还有点儿像白色鱼丸,放进热锅里更像夜市里卖的炸鱼蛋。 在油炸的过程中,锅里面还放了pandan叶,增添番薯蛋的香气。刚炸好的番薯蛋色泽金黄色,口感外酥内软,番薯味浓郁,令人垂涎欲滴。
📌我不是美食家,不去点评食物,而是站在另一个角度去欣赏美食,感恩厨师的付出和辛劳,也敬佩传统美食业者的坚持。

🍡Sweet potato balls (also known as ‘zao’ in the Fujian dialect) are a snack originating from Quanzhou, Fujian, China. In Petaling Street, there is a well-established stall founded in 1973 that has been selling fried sweet potato balls for 50 years!
🍠The mashed sweet potatoes are shaped into rounds, resembling fish balls. During the frying process, pandan leaves are added to the oil, enhancing the aroma of the sweet potato balls. Unlike Western doughnuts, deep-fried sweet potato balls have a super QQ texture, with a crispy outer layer and a chewy inner texture.
