Why do you plant so early? I'm in Kentucky and I don't plant Buckwheat until the 1st or 2nd week of July.
I planted mine 6 weeks ago and it's already flowering, should I let it seed out or mow it?

I'd let it go until you're ready to plant fall plots into it. I honestly have no idea how buckwheat handles being mowed.
