My mum used to sell chuối xào dừa and the name is very misleading. It doesn’t involve any stir frying 😅. The banana is boiled and served with thickened coconut milk which had sago in it, and topped with roasted peanut. It was my favourite Vietnamese dessert but since moving to Australia, I don’t see anyone selling and my mum doesn’t make it anymore :(

Thanks for the video and reciews on places you tried. Not sure if anyone has mentioned already, but the first place serves banh canh bot gao, which uses more rice flour, whereas the second place is banh canh bot loc, which has more tapioca. Can't wait to check out the first place when we visit Vietnam in summer. First place as they also serve BBH, which is my favorite noodle soup

I hate it when they over charge, that small bowl cost about 30K max, not 57K, so ask the price before sitting down. It's not about that much of a difference but it's about, she rips you off.

it’s depends. Around district one, foods maybe a bit more expensive. Besides, the bowl was full of topping, crab meat and all. He knows Vietnamese, and he got a recording camera. It would be a bad advertisement move if she overcharged him.

Sone days it’s harder then others

so 57K for a small bowl of noodle, an average worker in Viet nam works for a full day for about 200K (there's even lower earnings). So you can only buy about *3-4 bowl of noodle* with a full day's salary as an average worker. I thought Viet nam always brag themself that their economy has been growing at skyrocketing and they even try to compare themself to Singapore, Thailand, Korea and Japan, WHAT

i think you should add VN subtitles so that Vietnamese people can understand
