Some music embraces every generation understanding of Human behavior. This one happens to be one. Exceptional in every way.
I have the acoustic version of this song on a playlist I compiled when my older brother died. I pulled up the same version when my younger brother passed away last month. Now this song will remind me of my brothers and Taylor...all gone too soon, too young. Rest in peace, Taylor. Condolences to the Hawkins family, the Foo Fighters, and to all who love rock music.

Suicide survival is tough. It's often done in isolation; what can people say? But suicide disrupts the ground we walk on, the sense we can count on life. That was my experience with suicide. I "moved on" and put it on the back burner. Unfortunately, I couldn't/ didn't face my emotions of guilt, anger, shock and more. 20 years later, that suicide affected my acceptance of other natural deaths, and being unable to control circumstances. I hope you will seek counseling help or a support group, I didn't. The suicide discolored the joy and spontaneity I would have had in life. At least talk and share, till you know you are okay. Harm wasn't meant, in their depression, they were clueless. Eventually, I hope you remember the way he lived more than the way he died.

I'm the opposite. I hate summer - the endless burning light that hurts my eyes, the horrible heat, sticky with sunscreen, stinky with bugspray, lightening storms constantly knocking out the power, bug bites, mosquito bites, bugs everywhere, not being able to sleep it's so hot, always being stinky and sweaty in the heat, blech! Plus all the drunks and kooks seem to come out in summer, can't seem to go for a walk without getting harassed....winter, now....ahhh!.... ...peace, quiet, magical. Christmas. Beautiful holiday lights. Hot chocolate. Skating outside. Season of miracles, and hope, and believing in magic. Cozy nights at home with tea and a book. Decorating the Christmas tree. Christmas parties. So calm and quiet. No drunks and kooks out wandering and bothering me. Just peaceful walks in the beautiful snow. Beautiful white jackrabbits. Christmas food, christmas chocolates. Peace. Quiet.

Just saw them live at the Slane Festival in Ireland. They were fuckin stunning. Never saw 70,000 people go so wild for 2hours plus before. Amazing.

So, sorry for the loss of your beloved pet.
I'm class of 2002. I'm 39 now and I recently watch the foo fighters playlist. It's so strange to have grown up hearing this band cut record after record, seeing Dave Grohl changing over time in these videos making me realize my generations youth has now completely dissolved into the past. Time can speed up or slow down ultimately eating everything we come to know, that's what these songs have made me realize after seeing the band members change over the years in these videos.

Man, I truly hope the Foos find a way to learn to live again. It's hard to imagine a world without Taylor himself, let alone the band that he helped propel to super stardom. So sad, I'm sure everyone agrees that our hearts are with the band and their families more now than ever. RIP to one of rock's greatest drummers. Taylor, you will never, ever be forgotten!
