I'm so glad that Pat Smear is in this band. It's like he's the old school guy with a ton of street-cred from the old punk days who should actually succeed. I mean Dave Grohl is the MAN - great song writer, producer, etc, but I know he listened to a ton of the Germs (Pat's original band) on his way up, which may have possibly inspired his current greatness.

Love this band even old rockers like me can still dig the Foo Fighters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dave is such a talent , Brilliant with both Drums & Guitar, amazing song writer, a true stand-up live performer and he is a great dad too! The Band just Rocks it live ! I hope they know all ages love the Foo ! My friends my age wonder what the hell I'm listening to when the foo is blasting in my house and in my car, what can I say ? lol,,, I just have loved Rock music since my early early teens. My first concert at 13 was 3 Dog Night and Stepping Wolf, I was in love with music from then on... Thx Foo Fighters, for going on tour in 2017 as I'm going to see you this year! I would take my 40 year old son, but he is a country boy, I grew up with Woodstock!!! lol.

Corey Freeland Both this performance and the In Bloom video are references to The Beatles performing for the first time (I think?) on american TV, which was the huge kickoff to american Beatlemania. Pretty damn cool!

Also the Late Show uses the Ed Sullivan theater, so in this case, they are literally on the same stage where the Beatles performed on the Ed Sullivan almost 50 years before!
