Now that I'm flying and actually creating liveries on an old extra 300 it's pretty cool I remember when I started from nothing and now I'm starting something thank you my friend I owe you one

Just a minor correction in your and others beliefs about the spray paint. It's not the propellant that is eating the foam. It's the solvent that keeps the pigment liquid inside the can that is eating the foam. Chances are that both cans use the exact same propellant.

Do you need to put a protective coating after spraying Liquitex to protect damp conditions? Live in UK and can't get Minwax polycrylic spray but can get brush on liquid if needs it

Ques: could you use the Shellac or Minwax spray as a barrier on the foam to protect the foam from contact cement? The reason I ask is that I would like to skin foam wings with balsa and can't find a spray on contact cement that won't attack the foam. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Great video, I was always interested in the liquitex acrylic paint. I'm from the UK and wondered if you could answer 2 questions. If using the white acrylic liquitex colour is this semi opaque or would it completely cover a darker surface underneath? Would I first have to use the liquitex primer first then paint over as you didn't seem to require the primer in your videos? Second question... This is supposed to be water based paint which is why it takes longer to dry but also it does not contain the same harmful chemicals as say the Montana acrylic spray paint so is there still a need to use a mask?

Interesting, I've been using the model master and testors rattle cans and it won't eat the depron either, I don't use any prep, have you tried or have issues? Krylon short cuts will also work straight on the foams.

Thx for the video I tried the paint and it looks great, but the frog tape still took some paint off.. How do you prepare a bare foam plane like EPO to get the paint to stick good? I didnt use undercoat, should I? I just put a few coats on, let it dry for a day then taped over lightly with the frog tape to put a darker color over it. when I pulled the tape off I saw a few spots of bare foam places.

cool ! but the fact is that only after a few years you came to the fact that acrylic paint is water-based and will not damage polystyrene and other surfaces. Your prior paint is solvent based, it's a spray oil paint. I figured it out with my first model. anyway, I used the paint you advertise, I think that the KOBRA company is better, a greater selection of colors and a lower price. best regards and waiting for the next episode !!

Good video, only thing I don’t get on A LOT of YT videos is all the repetition of comments, I mean it’s a video, if people are too stupid to get it they can rewind, if you cut out all the repetitive statements the video would be half as long.... not trying to be offensive, guess it’s from being in the military too long, say it clear, say it once and move on. I guess it’s because it’s a waste of valuable time for useful information vs saying the same ting 4 times back to back with information that is useless when the information has already. Been said once.... again, it’s a video, rewind
