I’m a student trying to build an rc plane made of carbon fibre for an engineering project do you have any recommendations because I’m going into this blind Thank you
What a beauties! Where are they now?
Great!!!
Did you get it to fly ?? ..may be if you took out the centre motor and put 2 smaller motors it the gun pods that may work for you
It’ll only truly be authentic if it keeps crashing 😂
1:02 Gerry Anderson was amazing no mistake but the special effects crew designed and built the craft and deserve a mention, it truly was a team effort pioneered by Anderson.
Nice! I have an engineering question --- was weight imbalance an issue to contend with? I would think some sort of ballast had to be placed in the shuttle bay to establish a flyable center of gravity? Even with the lightest weight material, I bet she was initially a little nose-heavy? And if the shuttle bay was chosen for ballast, how will you launch shuttles? 😉 And just be careful on a windy day! The large saucer section must be prone to wind gusts? If a sizable breeze got ahold of that saucer, well then...red alert! Anyway, nicely done, and I hope she survives to complete her 5 year mission and beyond!
Thank you 🙂
So all the power for the landing gear is drawn through the radio control receiver, is that correct?
He would be turning over in his grave if he saw California today.
Only took a week of research to find you...😎Thanks, Sir.
🤩🎬GREAT VIDEO🎬🤩 I’m glad I found your channel & I MOST DEFINITELY look forward to seeing MORE of your videos🔔 📺 I do mostly TRANSFORMER Stop Motion 🎬📸🎞️ I hope you enjoy my animation‼️ 2:21
Republic is one of those words. Davy Crockett, "The Alamo"
The nose gear doors are a little different than the original full size jet that had a piece of door attached to the gear.
For a flying model the exact flight controls that are to scale aren't probably necessary. And we can see this by looking at the ailerons. On this model they are outboard- toward the outer edge of the wing. But know that the 880 actual ailerons were way inboard instead of toward the edge of the wing. I believe 707 aircraft had both positions. But it is true that 707s were not accurate flying machines. Watch a video on the Cathay Pacific 880 inaugural flight. A flight engineer talks about the poor handling of the Boeing 707. And flying models probably wouldn't have trim tabs. But I think this 880 flying model is quite accurate where it counts. I love it. But with a wing sweep of 39 degrees I would be afraid to fly it. Some writers have shown the 880 to have a 35 degree sweep and the 990 with a 39 degree sweep. But that is incorrect. I have drawings that show that they were the same. early blueprints show the 35 degree sweep. But that is not how they were made.
🙏🏾🔥
Ah yes, the off-brand Concorde
Nice planes are they made of metal?
It’s quite simple for any aspect of the hobby - if you’re not going crazy super long range(FPV), need signal to go through stuff like trees or even buildings (FPV), or need to control a large number of models with a lot of complex controls like gears, flaps, lights, smoke, trims, animating a pilot, and non standard control surfaces, etc - just get the number of channels you need and a fit/budget that works from a reputable brand. Anything above the cheapest and worst reviewed radios won’t cut out on you for basic and even pretty advanced models while flying line of sight. I fly 6ch rc helis and have barely needed to use half of the switches on my radio. I realized a lot of the excessive controls and trims are actually meant for older days of flying when the pilot did have to do a lot of trimming and tuning to do mid flight. If you fly with a flight computer (standard with helis) rather than purely mechanical, you absolutely barely need more than basic controls.
Wow that scary
Can you sand when hardened
Can you wear any of these over top of your subscription glasses
Yes, I needed this advice so much. Thank you for discussing the density.
As I know, these planes dont fly anymore.
You can’t get depron anywhere in the USA now sadly
How long do you let it to dry?

WE really need john in this time, he knew what it was all about!
THE INTRO MUSIC IS MUCH TOO LOUD!
great footage what year?
When it's the maiden flight coming?
Loved the vid! What was the final dry colour, it looked gray? If so it's not good for over coating a painted panel that you want to protect.
Your 50mm sucker blades doesn’t sound good and it’s about to fly off to your face at 40,000 RPM. Good thing you didn’t bench-test your 50mm sucker. 🤨😅
The big daddy 5inch is the best
I love these suckers!!
Concordsky flew before the concord.
Nice model. But standing behind the model for take-off is a signature of RC modelers who don't fly well in all orientations. I trust that by now you can take off not standing on the runway threshold. :-)

Tu-144 is the one with propelers bruhhhhh
Son extraordinaire. Merci pour la vidéo.. 👍👍👌
El monstro sovietico
Do you have to cover it with something to seal it and will decals stick to it? I have the apple barrel matte acrylic.
The Tu-144 here has NASA markings. In the 1990's, we got to borrow one for research. It had been neglected but, was still flyable. NASA fixed it all up, gave it a few upgrades, and a fresh paint job. We returned it to Russia in better condition than we borrowed it.
That is Awesome 👍👍👍👍👍👍
REALLY NOW
John Wayne dodged active service in the American military during WW2 because he was afraid it would compromise his film career. He was an alcoholic coward. Screw him.
I’m assuming you been in the military then?
Where can I buy?
According to reports from that time, the noise inside the cabin was unbearable. It was almost impossible to hold a conversation with the passenger sitting next to you. Literally you had to shout in his ear.
True, but most resorted to hand-written notes instead.
