I admire you gentle method of weaning it ks wonderful to see that you have taken both the mares and her foals well being and minimized the chance of seperation anxiety in a perfectly natural stress free way .

maybe I am a bit slow on the up take..you have them physically separated but because they can see an smell each other this makes it less stress full? are the foal and mare allowed any contact at all?some I'm having visions of foals hurting them selves trying to get to their mothers...can you explain why this doesn't happen with your method. I may have missed some thing the wind does make it hard to hear some of the dialog. Thank you very much,
