Awesome planes. Very good review. I have both planes and they pretty much come with me to the field every time. Now the Cosair if you want a little more power may I suggest an 80 to 100 amp ESC and a BadAss 4530-270kv. You don't have to change the 18x11 prop so you can stay scale and you have the extra oomph to get u out of trouble or do a little more with her. That's what I put in mine. I run it with a 6s 5 to 7kmah 50c and it's just beautiful. It puts it on par with the Tigercat. I'm at 2/3 throttle most of time and I still have a little in reserve. But I just love both of these planes. Oh and I have had no problems with prop hub blowing apart or any stress on the hub. I do look over my planes when they come back from a day of flying. Good review and stay safe.

Awesome Will. Very well done. You fly them both really well. I can tell you're getting used to the Corsair. Bigger flies better...such a true statement. You sound like someone else I know when you are critiquing your flying. I get "That looked great to me" quite often from my buddies at the field when they hear me comment on my flying or a landing, etc. You push yourself, and expect great performance. That makes the bad days, landings, and maneuvers...still pretty damn good. Just in the short time I've had the pleasure of watching you fly you've improved. That is impressive. Congrats on 100! Really enjoyed this one Will!

Adam, Sincerely appreciate the comments.. The Corsair is such a wonderful plane. So fun to cruise around.. Bigger flies better for sure. The Tigercat is equally fabulous.. Like you, I have a addictive personally... Whenever I get the passion for a hobby, I go 110%. I've had a ton of hobbies over the years.. Flying RC planes is one that I continue to come back to. This time, it really has a hold on me.. It's a wonderful hobby, filled with so many great people... Thanks for your support to assist me in hitting the 100 mark.. I joke with my wife, that now, I'll start making some serious dollars from KZread.. :-)

@@SteffenRC Funny thing is I've done that as well. Many hobbies...all with intricate skill set requirements. Aviation has always been a pert of my life, but I took a long layoff from flying rc...been back at it for 12 years now. Never going to leave it again. 1000 subs will happen sooner than you think...

The landing gear on my F7F sometimes do not deploy in flight but will always deploy on the ground so difficult to find the cause. Very strange. Great review 👏

Often its that little grub screw on the bottom of the installed retract. You gotta take the retract out and look under to see the 2 screws.. Make sure they are tight on the flat part of the shaft. Good luck..

@@SteffenRC Question! Are the propellers on your Tigercat, both rotation clockwise, when viewing the plane from the rear? which according to the instruction manual is the correct way, however in order to get my Tigercat to operate correctly and travel forward, both Motors must be spinning inwards, if i change the directions of the motors were both spin clockwise, the plane will spin in circles, LOL

@@williewideback My Tigercat props spin inward. The props are set for inward rotation (left/port prop is clockwise and the right is counter clockwise) Thats how it was when I purchased it and it seems like it works very well. No issues with torque at all..

Well done, really like the comparison and cutting between the two in the video, but is this an apples to apples comparison? Dual motor vs single, high wing vs low wing? Would a better comparison be the Corsair to perhaps a mustang or another similar configuration? Maybe you can add that to your planned videos.

@@SteffenRC that would be great. Videos like that would help others choose between warbirds. I am a big Corsair fan but that is an emotional feeling from growing up watching shows like Blacksheep. But I have no idea which warbird flys better. I do believe bigger is better so that would probably be my starting point.

Yep, FMS got the Tigercat setup just right. The Corsair could use a bit more speed for sure. Not sure if going to the 360kv, 100amp ESC and stock prop would give me enough to make the change worth it. I've seen others fly it with 8S and its got a fair bit of speed. Right now she's a wonderful gentle giant thats kinda relaxing to fly... Thanks for commenting.. Will
