Its a wonderful plane. I sure love mine.. I upgraded the ESC and pushed the timing a bit and I'm feeling better about the power. Its not fast, but there is plenty of thrust... Enjoy that gentle giant... - Will

Big birds like that have plenty of drag on the wings to slow them down in the winds so personally i prefer not using flaps when i have the wind already doing it for me...a bad stall can happen if your not on that throttle enough with flaps down in high winds..

Try dialing the elevator back and up the expo. Warbirds take off better with no flap also (got 3 Corsair's including this one). Definitely slower than my Flightline 1600's

The one I have seems to have more power the yours. I usually fly mine a little over half throttle and get 8-9 minutes. It may be your timing on the motor. Nice flight! 👍🙋‍♂️🖖🏻

Thank you!! Yes! I bought it from Horizon Hobby’s website and they said all of their stock of these since the new prop came out, has been installed with them. So yes! Thanks!!

More fun than the Draco? Looks touchy on landing. But it also sounds quite windy.

It WILL be more fun than Draco! Once it’s on 8S! It already kinda is though because it has retracts and…. It’s an F4U!! So definitely a lot cooler already! 😎😆 Yes it was touchy on landing but was a massive crosswind!

Great review. Could you consider adding subtitles next time? Hard to hear what you are saying with the background noises and what you had to say sounds like it's very informative. Cheers.

@@M4rkmcc21 Ohh ok glad they work! I’ll still do subtitles in the future though! Yes! I’m really looking forward to making this bird 8S! Although I DID just finally get her set up officially on 6S with the Reflex gyro! So I’m waiting to fly it like that first! Then I’ll soon upgrade to 8S! Definitely would recommend 8S to you as well if you have or get this plane! Currently, I’m storing it fully put together with the nose into the carpet completely vertical leaning up against a wall in my bedroom. Once I have flown it on 6S again here soon and don’t plan on flying it again until I do my 8S modification, I will remove the wings and put it on a shelf up by my P-51. I’ll show that in a video sometime. Thanks!!

I am trying to figure out why you would disable an excellent tool like SAFE and AS3X and then state you are going to use the much inferior Reflex all while using a Spektrum radio. Makes no sense.

Because, it just seemed a lot simpler. I didn’t want to program the AS3X in myself specifically for this airplane. With the Reflex already being set up it makes it a lot easier to have a gyro there and ready to go. Thanks!

@@Shortsircut1 Yessir I know! I don’t need it at all actually. I’m well capable of flying without and have proven that for years… I only want it to correct for strong wind.

I hope you have your FAA tracking device on that, model airplanes are a great threat you know. Also, has that model airfield been blessed by the FAA, and therefore sanctioned by the AMA? We don't want to you to be having any fun without them.
