This should have been a mini series instead of a crunched movie

This song was sung by the german romani singer Tayo Awosusi. Fits perfectly considering these are also romani woman in germany. I really wonder how she and Ferenc Snetberger (from Hungary) ended up recording this song together for a japanese anime film.

I love that they used a true Romani song for this scene. Our people are always pushed aside、 thank you FMA for keeping it real 💯 🙏

Considering that the showrunners were making up the story as they went along after a point, because the manga wasn't done, I feel like they actually did an incredible job making the story their own, especially here in Conqueror of Shambala. I feel sorry that this timeline never gets the happy ending that the Brotherhood timeline has, but nonetheless I think this timeline was handled well.

The movie is flawed to be sure, but it isn't trash. There is great ideas through the movie, but it doesn't have the time to flesh them out. Unfortunately the movie was a victim of FMA Brotherhood (at least to my knowledge) because the resources were put on the new take of the anime instead of finishing the story of the 2003 version. Apparently Shamballa was meant to be a short series instead of a movie and that would explain why it fell short.

@@winkoman3No? Original story, yes. Making up as they went along? No. The 2003 series was pretty well-planned in how it would plant the seeds in the early episodes (the ones with manga material) to transition to its original story and its original ending which yes, was intended to be not completely happy. Arakawa was even there to help plan for this herself. (Shown in Volume 8 extras) Shamballa however, got crunched. A miniseries got forced to become a film length.
