Without doubt the most annoying aspect of the game, can't possibly be like this in real life surely?? How the fuck can I not get a work permit for Elneny when he's played 4 seasons at Basle (Switzerland), 1 at Leverkusen (Germany) and 5 at Arsenal and has 60 international caps. I'm fucking fuming, newly promoted to the prem, really need a DM and have minimum funds, such an important transfer, the game can fuck off, so annoyed. That's not to mention the array of talent I've missed out on or can't pursue because of this shit too.

so I'm playing a sky bet league one team in fm18 and rented a player from Liverpool who does not have work permit. His permit is denied and the appeal also failed. But he can still play for me. Is this a bug? Thank you!

I bought a player from river plate in Argentinian top flight (of which they were in fact champions of) and gave him a salary that i am pretty sure is the top salary at my club, but the appeal was rejected (my top salary is 2mil and i gave him 3mil). I don’t know what the problem is. I checked and the Argentinian top flight to see if it still was in the top two leagues in south america and it is. The only problem is that I only paid 4mil for him, but I thought the two other parts would be good enough. Do I have to pay more for him? I was really happy I got him for so cheap.

@@fmscout i cant have more than 17 foreigners in my squad, but everytime i go to my scouts they always say that Even big players like neymar and griezmann wont get a work permit Even after appeal.

You can still get the work permit, the scout is wrong. It's actually easier to get work permits overall after Brexit. The trouble is with the limit of 17. @@xTheLoyalDutchx
