There are some very interesting receivers too :)

Looks like a solid radio but the wheel is killing it for me. They could have put the GT5 foam wheel on it.

Yep definitely agree, you can just stick a foam cover on it though or the wheel from an nb4 or pro fits too

I was considering this as a replacement for my Radiolink 6GS but the features don't seem far apart with this one. Plus the advertised range on these is 300m. That's half of the 6GS. With boats the "extra" buffer distance is a plus. The Radiolink is complete blah in design. But it's stable and effective.

I think the extra features of the receivers is a plus for the g7p like ESC and light control and the usb c is a good idea for pc link and using on RC sim

I’ve had of the older versions which I thought was futuristic looking and the price was always at a super deal. I have 2 of nb4 nobles which I love and have showed mine to few races which have purchased them. I’ve never had any problems with either of them and sure this will be a good one. I’m a little surprised of look and shape of it. Alway like flysky design but not impressed with look It seem to resemble their first design and design of a lot of other makers. Sure it works fine but was hoping for better look.

Yeh it's definitely splitting opinions it feels nice and the screen is very clear so and has lots of features normally found in much more expensive radios :)

Great info - flysky is so bad with documentation you're really a godsend. With the standard FS-R7P you mention the sensors input - if all you want is battery voltage telemetry, do you have to buy some other sensor that feeds the RX, or do you just put VBAT to that input and it can measure the voltage?

Rx voltage is read all the time from the receiver, the BVD can also be used or you can add another voltage sensor :) all will work :)

Appears to be a nice transmitter, but the plastic wheel just makes it look cheap. Needs a foam wheel.

Yeh easy to stick one on it though or even just foam round it I'm not sure why it's just plastic

Is the ergonomics good for the top dial? Would it be too 'inside' to reach? I'm planning to use that for independent rear wheel steer. Thanks.

Really depends on the winch controller or how you set it up but yeh it's possible

Can it bind with multiple receiver ,means one controller multiple cars .playing one at a time not all at once 😆

Gyro set up would be the same as the nb4 or noble pro but I'll make a vid for ya :) not sure on ETA for gyro receiver yet though.

I wish the NB4 can do track, unless with the new upgrade we can do it ??

I'd have a look but the 1.0.24 update bricked the G7P so no more vids unless flysky can replace it or tell me how to restore it :(

Nope only works with ant protocol receivers

Would I be able to properly set the trx-6 locking difs to one button vs having to use two different buttons to control each servo

Yeh just set up Ch mixing and then reverse the slave channel :)

No probs I did connect power to usb with NiMH battery in but it didn't seem to do anything as charging goes :)

No they are ant protocol which is a adaption of afhds 2A the nb4 and pro use afhds 3

No it just powers the device for updates and pc simulation for what I can tell

@@WTFRCCars Good to know, but I still think it's a kludgy system. I've had the balance lead short out on one of the alkaline battery connector springs and melt it in my GT5. Honestly, a NIMH pack with a single JST plug would be much safer. That said, I've still ordered the G7B based on your review.

It's a cracking transmitter for the price and the new receivers have hobbywing ESC built in too :)

Definitely a nice upgrade to the GT5. But why the new receivers again!!! They should have made it compatible with the NB4 and Pro receivers. It’s really stupid to have yet another protocol.

It's because they had added extra features that the gt5 could not support like the receiver with built-in ESC and light controller but it can't do the high speed 1000hz like the nb4 and noble pro or it would cost too much it sells for £60 or less

@@WTFRCCars I get the upgrade from the gt5. I don’t get the new protocol. It should be the same protocol as the Nobles. That way those that already have a noble could also use one of these for their kids. Or those that need multiple transmitters for kids and friends or family to all run at the same time. Now they need multiple protocols and it’s a pain in the but

If it ran the same chip as the nb4 it would be almost the same price, the protocol on the G7P doesn't support 1000hz servos or anything above 400hz so had to be I new protocol but I get what ya mean

If you need the new features then it's a good upgrade at a low price but only if it's something you need or if you don't have any transmitter I'd always say only upgrade your stuff if and when you really need to, but if none of the manufacturer's ever released new stuff we would still be on am lol
