Melbourne Airport looked normal! Another great review, fantastic to see Qantas is trying to keep their flights as normal as can be expected, despite the very minimal timetable. That legroom is spectacular, I don’t know how you cope flying in Europe and America! Thanks for sharing with the world once more, great to see you back in the skies 😀👏🙏✈️
Welcome back, big fella, good to see you back online...missed your informative but heartfelt flight reviews.... :)
I sure do miss flying...and watching and making flight reports....

Great to see the aviation industry is beginning to "spool up" again. Informative commentary and great video footage Paul - especially of a well greened up Melbourne after good rains they have had.

The doctors have been talking saying that the planes they are not safe doe to the air. It is amazing. In a lot of planes overseas they are still having a gab in the middle. Thanks for the video.
Thanks Paul for a helpful, responsible and intelligent summary of the state of play at the moment. Can’t wait to get flying again. I wish the industry well as it grapples with this and with the understandable calls to improve re emissions etc in the medium to long term. I know it is important to them to get it as right as they can
Oh how nice is it to see you again

Hey Paul, great to see another video...wow things have changed. Thanks for the plug to support local businesses, they need it. Personally I’ve worked 3 hours in the last 3 months, as my business operates in schools, child care centres and aged care centres. I’m not complaining, we could be a lot worse off, just look at the US and UK. I’d rather my friends and family be alive than my business taking it in. 😀
Paul! This video helped me feel emotions again!!

Well done Paul. Unfortunately, your flight ended up with a slightly muted report but understandable and no one's fault but nice to see that things are heading in the right direction. Great views over Melbourne!
Amazing , so lucky!!!!!!!

Good on you for supporting the businesses in the airport. The flow on effects of this pandemic are felt down to the very nuts and bolts.
Really pleased you’ve made that first flight under these new conditions.... just no one around, but whilst onboard it felt relatively normal. Hopefully borders will open up, but thanks for sharing your experience and giving us all an insight as to what to expect. PS amazing weather for flying and those views! 👏
It really is such a shame what this virus has done to aviation. Cant believe how different only Jan and feb was this year compared to the last few months.

what the virus has done to every aspect of life.. but I understand what you mean, I love flying, airports, airlines etc as well and miss it sorely. I fear it will never be the same again - if we allow it to happen.
We really miss flying Can’t wait to fly from Sydney to Jakarta again with my wife We also want to go back to Tasmania Thanks for sharing this video Fed good to see the airport again Cheers
Qantas are doing an inaugural flight on monday 22nd June to my home town of Mackay up in Queensland! And also it is good to see you back!
It's so weird to see SYD without any people. Good video
Nice to see you back Paul, I can't wait for my first flight after we relax our borders in WA and I agree with the supporting of the small businesses where we can.
Great vlog Paul 😀! And I agree with Quantas management

Great to see you back in the skies. Looking at going from Bris to Cairns next month. I was a little surprised though that the flight attendants, when you boarded, were not wearing masks. I would have hoped that the crew at least were masked, especially how flight crew were flying positive earlier in the pandemic. Thanks for sharing your video, was great to see how things are now in Australia after we've been grounded for so long.
wow! that was quite different than before covid!
safe flight and be safe Paul Stewart

Thank you so much for making this video Paul. It is a great insight into what flying domestically is like in the COVID-19 age. It`s almost eerie to see Sydney T3 so deserted. With the crew and most passengers opting not to wear masks it does make flying with Qantas look a little more normal than with some other airlines despite the minimal in-flight service.
Man I actually thought about flying from Sydney to Melbourne just because I missed flying with Qantas. I appreciate this well made video, really informative, makes me flying Qantas again virtually :D

Awesome Video Paul, one thing I've heard frequently from people who are flying in the last month or so is that the cities and country side look so much more vibrant and clear, its because of the huge reduction in pollutants in the air. The EPA have published figures showing that Air Quality has dramatically increased due to the isolation requirements and the non use of vehicles. Just one of the many positives of this pandemic. let's hope we get back to normality soon. Keep up the great work :)
amazing video
Great to have you back Paul. What epic weather you had! The flight gods smiling on you. Would have been interesting to see the deplaning and arrival experience too.

Thanks Paul It was lovely to see your plane fly over Melbourne CBD. The Exhibition Building looked amazing from the air. I normally fly to Melbourne from the Gold Coast at the end of June for a holiday. With borders closed, and Virgin not flying, plus covid-19 cases still happening in Victoria, I doubt if I will be back to Melbourne any time soon.☹️ Your flight was a light at the end of a dark tunnel ...thanks
Great timing for the video, I have to go to Launceston via Melbourne next week and was wondering how different it's going to be
Great to see those green views all the way to Melbourne - thanks for posting Paul! I think many Aussies will be planning to wing it to NZ. I'm still visiting SYD regularly, and seeing some interesting aircraft, but actual movements are few and far between.

lovely to see the views of Melbourne. We have a trip booked to Australia via Singapore outbound and shanghai back to the uk in November, however, looks like we wont be able to go but 2021 we will be there!
I am really looking forward to being in the sky and like you I am planning my next NZ visit, Mount Maunganui here I come........ eventually! The one thing I love here in Aus is that we have individual air vents still, I use them as almost like a air screen every time I fly, I don’t know if it works but I figure every little thing helps and even more so important now.
It's honestly so weird to fly during a pandemic, as the basic flight portion is the same, but everything else around the flight changes. I had the opportunity to fly intercontinental, starting my journey in Glasgow, UK during the pandemic, and the most memorable thing of the trip was how deserted Glasgow Airport was. Usually the airport has quite a few aircraft movements with many shops in the airport, but on the day i flew, I only saw one aircraft move (Mine) and not a single shop was open, meaning the airport was just purely an airport, nothing else.
Thank you. It’s Heartbreaking to see the Roos in that condition. I miss hearing Big Reds overhead. Living on a Flight Path I am finding it hard to sleep at night, After getting so used to the Bird Noise. Cursed the bastards at night, now wish for a A380 or 777 to shake the house. We have even brought a cheap CD player Alarm Clock to put behind the couch to go off every so often just for the noise. as the Pink Floyd song Bring The Boy’s Back Home goes “Bring the Birds back UP! Bring the birds back up!This nasty Virus has fucked it all, Bring the Birds back up Bring the birds back”
Great to see you back! A nice call to arms on supporting the economy too. Hey, you’ve beaten Dennis back into the air I think? 😃😃😃👍👍👍

Miss flying..
I was genuinely chuffed to see a new Paul Stewart video. It's great to see flights, in whatever form, happening again. In South Africa at the moment only restricted business travel is allowed. Hopefully as the restrictions interprovincial travel will be allowed soon for leisure purposes as I'm sure it's the same in Australia ,there are many who need a break to recover from the mental anxiety they have been through. All the best mate

Great to see you back Paul - how the world has changed since our trip on Hervey Bay back in Feb. I’m booked J/Y to AKL in Sept, and interestingly J aisle and Y middle seats are blocked out. Guessing this is a contingency for TT bubble approval.
