I just can't get over how happy and satisfied a life Grim lives. His connection to you both adds a level of appeal for a lot of us I'm sure.

While your parents home is utterly stunning and in a beautiful part of the world, there was something about going home to Svalbard which was really appealing. The special hugs from both Christoffer and Grim were just priceless - isn’t it amazing just how special little things like this are. What a lovely video Cecilia!

Great to travel with you. It's soooo important to TRAVEL WITH THE RIGHT ATTITUDE. Your travel is part of the adventure. If you feel that it is a barrier to start/finish your adventure, you will always be frustrated, angry, etc. My last trip was a "milk-run", a 90 minute drive and 3 connecting flights in one day to get to my destination. With an 'adventurer' attitude, I was open to meeting so many great people along the way just in the airports and planes.

I so love watching you and Grim. I have always related to my dogs exactly the same, but now I am dog-less, and will have to remain so. I'm amazed how Grim makes me smile and my heart opens as only one's relationship with their own dog, can.

I would never want to leave that holiday house in Portugal it looks gorgeous!

I flew to Longyearbyen yesterday, and saw that you uploaded this video today. I almost thought we where on the same flight, however I think I would have recognized you. Love the nature here in Svalbard!

Brilliant, Christopher what a laid back guy......chilling at a hectic airport!! A lot of people should take his example.

Wow, I didn't even know it was possible to take so many flights in 1 day. That's insane, haha! I would freak out, as delays are very common, which you've experienced yourself now. I've only had 1-transfer flights before. Stunning house in Portugal btw.

honestly, svalbard seems utterly dreamy to me. small village, gorgeous views and just a magical life. it’s such a shame it’s so expensive to live and even just to GET there!! i hope one day i can be successful and even just visit :)

I live in Switzerland and one of the most hectic travel experiences I’ve had was getting back home from a funeral in the States. Had to fly from Savannah to Atlanta, Atlanta to Paris, Paris to Zürich and then take a 3 hour train from Zürich to Geneva 😵‍💫

Of all my travels missing a flight has always been a worry of mine. I only missed a flight once but luckily ive never had to stay over night anywhere. It was so nice to see how happy Christopher and Grim were to see you :)

Longyearbyen has been on my bucket list since I started watching your videos a couple of years ago! I've looked at the cost of flights occasionally but my spouse and I didn't have passports, until now! This video prompted me to check the cost of a flight from Los Angeles to Longyearbyen with stops in Copenhagen and Oslo was $862. May have to seriously look into visiting in the next year! *that was for the middle of March BTW

I love the airport in Oslo, Gardermoen. Was there a couple of months ago and it was honestly one of the nicest airport ever. In America the airport security is not always the nicest, but in Norway i felt so welcome. Thanks for the video, great info:-)

This reminds me of my trip to Iceland several years ago. My dad dropped me off at the airport late and I missed the cut off for my first flight (I still checked a bad back then, if I hadn't, I probably could have made it to the gate in time). Just like you, I had tickets with multiple airlines, so missing that first flight messed everything up. I finally made it there the next day, but it was so frustrating! Glad you made it home!

You reminded me my trip to Longyearbyen with my son a year ago. The same hotel in Oslo, change in Trømso and our surprise that we have to get off the plane 🤣. No drinks served due to covid etc but when I first saw Longyearbyen from airplane window, I felt like at home. Miss Svalbard so much. My son also.

So many great culinary experiences in Longyearbyen! Loved the polar summer. Fortunately, our flights all worked out, and we were able to get to LYR with only one stopover in OSLO.
