When you touch down, taxi to parking then go to get out of your plane to get something to eat only to realise you're still in your living room🤣🤣 insane immersion 👍💪
I have no idea why YT hid all of your content from me for so long. Your presentation is unparalleled. Keep on rockin'.

Most realistic home sim ever made. All you need now is a motion platform.

And a pilot chair full with seatbelts or harnesses...when he is doing the checklist it tells you to check the seatbelts and harness...its the only thing he doesn't do

he has a rumble seat to sim the vibrations.
Comms, freqs and visuals..., that’s about as real as it gets. Gonna be a helluva lot more Sim Pilots on the planet before this year is done. 👊😎

Excellent flight. Followed all procedures in a very professionally manner. The flight planning without the ‘K’ prefix is no big deal. You have motivated me enough to build my home flight sim as well but I will take my time. See you upfront!

How do u use aviation headset with sim?
I have been flying every version of simulators since sublogic 1982. You have the best presentation I have ever seen. I cant wait to see Flight Sim 2020 videos from you. Your interior/exterior flight views are great.
Josh, this was a real trip for me. It appears you work out of the Santa Maria area, and it tickled me to see Vandenberg AFB, Lompoc, San Luis Obispo, etc. looking over your shoulder on the charts. I was based at VAFB in 1972 for a year, and launched 2 MMIII missiles out of there in '75. I was "20/25" (left eye), and busted my USAF entry physical. However, I later used my GI Bill to get all my ratings through ATP, and retired in '09 with American Airlines on the "73". It was a Great Ride my friend, and I thank you for letting me have the Jump Seat --> "over to B F L" ("you don't need no stinkin' 'K' man"). Ha !
Just started to learn MS Flight Simulator, so watching your videos is inspiring!
How fun. Thank you for the refresher. Back in the early 80’s I flew single pilot Part 135 freight and charter in southern and central CA in Piper Navajo’s and Cessna 206.
Now that was an excellent, unhurried, full video, in an aircraft that I used to instruct in. Thank you so very much!
Awesome flight. Never flew the 150 or the 172's. Trained in Piper's back in the late 70's. Warrior's, Archer's, Arrow's and the Meridian. Love the setup you have. Nice work.
I just sat here and watched the entire video! I can see me getting into this....thanks for your excellent content!
Congrats on the CAT5! Hoping to see your CAT6 video soon! Loving the full-flight videos so much.
This is an excellent video. I feel like I'm sitting next to you on a real flight! You should do an introduction series (if you haven't done so already) on basic flying, controls, weather and comms. Just to get us newbies more familiar with things. Maybe a lesson on instruments would be good too.
Awesome job! I am getting the bug after 30 years to start back flying again and watching this video is definitely helping the bug! Thanks for sharing!
I flew from Van Nuys to Bakersfield in a Cessna 150 for one of my cross country flights. That was 35 years ago. I got my private pilots license but the expense was too much, so I kind of got out with only 120 hrs. This video really brought back those memories. Very nice.
Great video. I learn so much sitting in your plane's back seat!

Amazing setup! I imagine it could become quite warm sitting between those monitors. Have no idea how I only found your channel today. You definitely have me itching to get back into the virtual air.
This is by far the best content on KZread keep it coming man cant wait to see the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 videos you got planned amazing job bro.
Got to say I love your videos and they inspired me to start building a small simulator at home, albeit a bit smaller to start! And, you are introducing me to some different hardware which is more economical which helps in the Wife Approval Department! Keep it up!

Thats awesome im glad my videos are helpful. I started with just a yoke and throttle and slowly added over time. I wish you the best on your build. Cheers!
The integration of the 3 monitors is PERFECT ... looks like a real cockpit !!!
Loved every minute of this. I just subbed the other day and this has become my favorite flight sim channel. There were times I almost forgot that I was watching a simulator.
Thanks for the ride! I had this video running on my second monitor while building a scenery for X-plane.
This video is the first time I came across your channel. Outstanding job and your setup -- it's spectacular! Thanks for sharing your training with us.
Every time I see your videos I'm in awe.. LOVE your setup. Great work! ;)
FANTASTIC, thank you for sharing!!
That is so creative and impressive! You ROCK ON BUD!

Never watched a flight all the way through, you made it very enjoyable and very professional, I'm impressed. good luck on the future. An incredible set up.
Your channel is going to blow-up man. Some of the best stuff I have seen. Minor approach advice, for KBFL 30R you have 10,849 feet of runway. The 152 needs for a safe stop is 150 meters or 500 feet. You see where I am going here? It's a good habit to get into of floating it down the centerline just a touch to avoid coming up short. Other then that man, I loved everything. Can't tell you how impressed I was with your flying and your channel....top-notch man. Blue skies and happy trails.
Very professional setup. I'm amazed!
As ALWAYS ... AWESOME flight. Thank you for sharing. I am just a student pilot so as you're flying I try to think about the steps I would perform depending on the phase of flight you are in. It's a GREAT mental workout. Looking forward to future flights and adventures. btw ... AWESOME sim setup. 👍👍
Verry good quality demonstration. Thanks for the on-screen display of VOR updates, clarification on the web address, flight plan correction recommendation by AT etc. Use of checklists was not lip service so good job there also.
professional teaching at the controls. Congrats!
Thanks for the ride. Bakersfield was one of my first cross-country flights from Torrance TOA.
I am totally amazed at your dedication you have on your build. WOW.
Beautiful sim rig, thanks for sharing !
Great job-loved the editing! We’re pretty much in parallel, going through the CAT ratings at the same time by the looks of things & our set-ups are almost identical too... Hope to catch you on PilotEdge sometime soon & if you fancy some formation, give me a shout! :)

Thank you sir! Ive been taking my time getting through the ratings. Formation flying is one thing I haven't done in the sim yet but definitely want to. Lets do it. josh@homesimpilot.com
Thanks for a safe flight & landing the in flight service was a little lacking lol great setup.
Wow!! Just wow! I discovered your channel and instantly subscribed! The dedication and passion you put into this simulator is beautiful... You have all my respect sir, greetings from France!
Wow this is amazing, this is how I love KZread..
Great vid. Great set up. i been out of flying for approximately 18 years. Got too expensive. Still love it though. Your videos are very inspiring. Keep it up.
Really cool,Pilot. Keep them up.
Very professional.. Hope to keep seeing your videos once FS2020 comes out.
This was amazing!!! I subscribed and started watching your vids. It inspired me to start my own build. I just bought 3 TVs and working on getting the computer build now. Hopefully my own home sim will help me get my own private pilot certificate.
Nice. I just did my first from Sunnyside to kykm. Thanks for the home sim inspiration.

Man, you would be a great CFI and mentor to a lot of aimless young men who need intelligent, calm and dedicated role models.
What a wonderful setup you have. If we lived in the same city I would definitely wanna be your friend, dood. You are super cool.
Really good flight. Just one small pointer. In initial takeoff your vertical speed indicator showed a huge value (almost 2000 fpm). In real flight your ears would hurt a little bit. Just take care of the vertical speed and keep it a little bit down. These lights airplanes are climbed between 500 and 1000 fpm depending on the weather (hot or cold) Rest was excellent. Keep up the good work :)
Fantastic. Nice setup!
Haha, when you got into the cockpit, then switched to the outside view (with no pilot in the scene) I thought "wait, where is he?". That's a convincing simulator!
Everyone's armchair pilot dream! Together with awesome radio system of PE makes very realistic experience. Hope i will post similar video in future from my, i hope, future cockpit :). Also the trf controller was sooo kind and helpful, great!
I loved this video, it was a pleasure thank you
That was awesome!!!
I watch a lot of flight videos. And your channel came across my eyes. This is only the second video I've watched but it's top notch front to back. Subbed on the first one,... hit the bell on this one. Much respect.
Have got to say your xplane setup is the only i have seen look this fantastic with night lighting. Your setting definitely makes me want to switch over to xplane. Awesome flying with you and again fantastic setup for xplane. And if anyone want to compare night light of black marble for p3d here you are. Black marble inst even close to how great this looks
Excellent video. Great piloting. I would enjoy real flight lessons from you. You'd be an excellent teacher.
What an amazing set up!
Fun to watch. Great setup.

Dude, you've built one awesome simulator. But you'd also be a great guy to actually go flyin' with for real. . Methodical, attentive and focused!

Just found you as I am jumping in the flight sim pool, looking for some desk set up advice, etc. Enjoyed your flight to one of my frequent business flight stops, KBFL.
Nice Pit!!! Might I suggest FS2020. This is NOTHING like Bakersfield or KBFL. Love your channel!
