Great video. I have time in the Eclipse and it's a great plane. Underrated for sure. And yes the captain is this video was awesome, great explanation of the system. IS&S system isn't for everyone, but it works nice for this plane.

Jets are a different world. 450 pph at FL300 is 67 gph? For a jet it's great, but for a piston pilot it's like someone knocked a hole in the fuel tank and the fuel is just pouring out. However, it's still my favorite small jet, so much better than a Cirrus VisionJet.

You may also like the Cirrus Vision Jet if you have never flown one. A lot of fun for such a small jet ! I am a Cessna Citation fan, but have come to like the Beechcraft Premier 1A and the Bombardier G7500. I'm not picky either when it comes to flight decks. A Collins Pro 21 or a Garmin G3k are my preferred decks though.

The cirrus vision especially the improved G2 model is an AMAZING aircraft with more tech than some much bigger private jets that are 3x the money or more. The ballistic parachute system and fully automated landing system are just two things in that amazing plane and one of the first aircraft to come standard with the garmin 3000 avionics package. Also if you like the premier 1/1A jets which I also do then check out premier1drivers KZread channel he has dozens of videos in his premier 1 Beechcraft flying all over the US and they are all recent within the past few years. Amazing channel and pilot imo!

Are you considering an Eclipse? if its mileage is as good or better than a Baron 58 it's pretty good considering the speed and size. It's a very different experience. It doesn't have a lavatory but neither does a baron or bonanza. It's pretty cool. But I see the prices are still high. They cost significantly more than they cost new 15 years ago. Which is disappointing. Million seems like minimum price. I guess people like them.

it sounds like to me one plane was leaving a controlled frequency and going to descend into the pattern of another airport, and no longer has/Needs flight following, so the controller handed him off to the Unicom frequency of that airport, and probably told him to squawk 1200 VFR however, as a common courtesy, sometimes the controllers will tell you about the traffic in the pattern at the untowerd airport you’re about to come into

Absolutely beautiful little jet! I’m kinda confused because the cirrus vision jet has to be smaller than that and is also a certified jet so how is that one the smallest? Very cool aircraft btw! Just thought the sj50 would be the smallest or atleast smaller than that on the list. I’m guessing the vision is considered more in the personal jet category than private? If someone knows that answer please lmk! Also I love the panel set up on that! Very cool video Matt as usual!

@@nickpapagiorgio5056 yes great airplanes. They where ahead of it’s time, when they came out. And their marketing had some issues that made it heavy to trust in the whole program. Those mistakes led to fail also. Of course you are right. At the wrong time starting a great awesome jet. Totally underrated and misunderstood by this time. I guess the target group of pilots where also afraid of the modern complex glass cockpit by then. Today we can see, how actual and modern and right this plane was back then. Still today a very interesting jet for reasonable low money, compared to what you get.
