Matt - the disabled airplane was me! The arrival was very hectic and in an effort to get down quickly but then still hit the spot, just got a bit to slow and had a hard landing which disabled our right main gear. My plane ended up at the shop at OSH for 5 months. Well - I guess "sorry" I messed up your planned approach. Just glad my son and I were ok and we could reuse the airplane. Keep up the great flying and awesome videos!

Ya know I have been wanting to go to iconic Oshkosh EAA airshow for about 40yrs but never have made it there. I would go this year but it's late in the season and if I could find a room for the multiday event I have a feeling it would be pricey.

Accident waiting to happen. Oh wait an actual L39 team who actually do some practice did crash doing the same last week. There is a reason Jet Display teams like the Red Arrows. Thunderbirds et spend six months flying two or three sorties a day building up from three ships to nine ships even though they all have hundreds of hours of formation training before they even join the teams They don’t just meet at an airport and have a quick chat amongst friends and go for it. And teams rarely if ever put the smoke on the leading aircraft in a large shape. It’s the rear aircraft that smoke
