Matt - the disabled airplane was me! The arrival was very hectic and in an effort to get down quickly but then still hit the spot, just got a bit to slow and had a hard landing which disabled our right main gear. My plane ended up at the shop at OSH for 5 months. Well - I guess "sorry" I messed up your planned approach. Just glad my son and I were ok and we could reuse the airplane. Keep up the great flying and awesome videos!

where you in an RV?
Matt: You will remember this flight for the rest of your life. I know as I was part of the T-6 50th a long time ago. We had over 50 t6s in formation.
Wow, just wow! Matt, I have never ever in my life seen footage like this. And, damn, you lived it!! Congrats dude! You are living all of our fantasy lives!!! Blue skies brother!
So awesome to see this from the cockpit . Ton of hand eye ,hearing and flight control great job.
That was just too much fun to watch! Thank you for posting this and sharing a bit of what it's like to be on that end of arrivals. And for leaving in the radio chatter.
That was awesome!!
Insane approach....
Absolute top tier editing! What an perfect video! Subbed!
Ok Matt this was probably your most epic video yet. That was amazing!
This is one of the coolest videos I've ever seen.
Amazing video, excellent edit job. Shows just how intense flying in formation is too. I have never ever ever seen a video quite like that before. thanks! Mind blowing.
Very good concentration on your formation - Nice!
This is so friggen cool. Great video and even better to see your reactions. Thanks mate! 🎉
Matt, that was freaking awesome! Thats a memorable flight for sure!
This is insaaaaneeeee. Amazing
I have to say I am very impressed with the formation flying, and so nice to see the Migs along with you. This is a show I have always wanted to go to, what with the modified and experimental aircraft to see, the regular aircraft and so on, so much to look at. Great video, very interesting.
G,day Matt from Sydney Australia. Even the video is excillerating. Amazing formation flying: love the paint scheme on the jets. 🌏🇦🇺
Wow, this is exceptionally cool! Fantastic!
Absolutely amazing.
Awesome. Very nicely done.
Simply Beautiful!!
Well done to all crews 👏😃
Loved the flypast
Time for a custom paint job Matt!
Wow! Very cool
Remember that guy hanging with Jon who told you how PAPIs worked and showed you pictures of the inside of one while hanging out at that one display inside a pavilion for an hour or so? I also got some photos of you taxiing out for one of your demos...
Great video Matt, from Dan at Reno Stead
Yay! Started at KTVC! That’s home😁
I've been flying for 53 years, that was intense and cool!
That looks super fun and ridiculously stressful haha
What a way to go to ANY air show…..well done gentlemen! 👍👍👍👍👍
well that was about as cool as it could be... what a great thing to be able to do..
This is pretty cool.
Awesome! This is in your Top 5 vids. I just wish there had been a "Red 5 standing by" call in there somewhere.
Absolutely fantastic!!! Excellent clear and concise communication!
Very interesting to saw the familiar livery of the "Region" jet team :). with which I managed to work
Pretty cool!
O man so cool.
That is amazing! I would be extremely nervous that close to everybody… you guys did great!
Looked awesome :)
Beautiful fly there, Thank you for sharing your story and pushing yourself to do things you were probably uncomfortable to do.
A-MAZING!!!!
Matt...On a coolness scale from 1 to 10 this was an 11...!!!
Very cool way to fly to the event, any event.
wow, that’s a great share you made, thank you. I am from Quebec and with my son we are going to see Bagotville International Air Show, then seeing it from your sight with you was super interesting. I like discovering you and following your videos. Stay safe pilote.
This was just outstanding,, Thanks for putting us all in the cockpit with your inbound Oshkosh flight,, and to think we all fit, Ha Ha. Ya know I have been wanting to go to iconic Oshkosh EAA airshow for about 40yrs but never have made it there. I would go this year but it's late in the season and if I could find a room for the multiday event I have a feeling it would be pricey.
Flying out of TVC in TC.. right in my back yard 👌🏻
Awesome.
that would be fun to do, for sure.
That looked SICK i wish i would be in one of those planes
Great shots Matt!
If the weather was going to be good, Id obtain my PPL tomorrow morning. Its taken me about 3 months. I absolutely love that I started down this path. I will make this trip one day after I've got a few thousand hours, lol.
You are awesome 👏🏿
That was epic
Wow!
so damn awesome... wow
Cool cool cool 😎
Awesome flying!!
That was a great video. Probably up therte with the best you have created, awesome
I've been playing DCS for years, and it's amazing to see actual pilots in action. I hope to experience real flying someday, even as a guest, to feel the controls in real life. Just subscribed!
I have some great photos of this arrival at OSH!
I searched for the centerline in all the video but it escaped me at the end :)
Fantastico
nice
Holy shit that was cool!
Another nice video, thank you
i so badly want to get into the retired jets scene, only on private pilot right now though, i dont see it in the near future. This video is awesome though, the formation looks amazing.
Great stuff
Everyone gangsta, till the old Soviet Trainers & Fighters join the Airshow Frestross (Fresco Albatross) Awesome, great flight Red-Blue-Bandit 🤙 Stay healthy for all of us & Safety First! Peace across the Globe ✌😉
Awesome! 😍
Hey Matt, can you recommend a good knee holder for a smartphone? I don't see anything listed in your Amazon store. Thanks.
Top job! The number of things that make this very hard is not appreciated unless you've tried this type of thing. What's the proportion of current / ex military folk vs pure civilian only pilots? How much pre-training was conducted prior to this flight? Excellent video.
That was fucking awesome.
Matt was that you who drew into Gadsden a few days ago??
Top Gun quote springs to mind “Son, your ego is writing checks your body can't cash” Stay safe.

@@johnqdoe Nobody hates Matt. He's a gift to the aviation community. That said, he got behind the airplane for a sec and we noticed. Getting behind the aircraft in this class of aviation, especially in formation could kill several people including him. We don't want to see him get dead. Nothing more..
Hope you got the ice cream at the FBO there lol
That was outstanding
So cool!
That was effing awesome. Oh how I wish I could get a license and a jet (T38).
@MetaliCanuck
27 күн бұрын
A T-38 really? You realize its one of the hardest planes to fly and pilot right? Its a cool looking jet but from my F5 days I think many people don't realize that planes trying to kill you every time you land lol
@stevenp.3303
26 күн бұрын
@MetaliCanuck A guy can dream and fantasize, can't he? I'm never going to be able to get a license, let alone own ANY kind of airplane, so it really doesn't matter what I want.
@tonyvelasquez6776

@@stevenp.3303 why cant you get a pilot license? Its not that hard or expensive
@stevenp.3303
26 күн бұрын
@tonyvelasquez6776 too expensive, and I doubt I could pass an FAA physical. Also, I don't have the time to work a full-time job and care for my wife, which is a full-time job of its own. I my area, it's $12k to $14k just for a private license.
@tonyvelasquez6776

@@stevenp.3303 That's what a sport pilot license is for.. no medical, only a drivers license. $6k training.
Amazing what you can do with a boat load of money. Well done.
One of your best videos, Matt! Great air-to-air shots and comms. Just wondering if you went more or less direct from TVC to OSH. Isn't that 50nm over water? Do you guys have rafts? Would you ditch or eject in a situation like that?
wish I could like this more, very effing cool!
KTVC! :D
Very cool.
That was badass
I wonder what's the coolest thing he will do for the year 🤔
"at or above 500 feet".....THAT is an invitation for a LOW PASS
Neck cramps after this flight?
Accident waiting to happen. Oh wait an actual L39 team who actually do some practice did crash doing the same last week. There is a reason Jet Display teams like the Red Arrows. Thunderbirds et spend six months flying two or three sorties a day building up from three ships to nine ships even though they all have hundreds of hours of formation training before they even join the teams They don’t just meet at an airport and have a quick chat amongst friends and go for it. And teams rarely if ever put the smoke on the leading aircraft in a large shape. It’s the rear aircraft that smoke
15:02 Yikes. Very cool, but needs some practice. Those Mig-17s are BEAUTIFUL though.

BAD ASS!
So, are ya'll just all pilots who get together? Is this a organization that flies these things? Because I doubt all those people just have the same jet for no reason
