Good quality video and great explanation. I really appreciate the good contrast of the fabrics and the mat. I knew the 4 at a time method but finally seeing a no waste one at a time. Thank you.
Im so glad i decided to watch your tutorial as you just taught me how this works ! I have seen this block unfinished lots of times but never saw how you put in the middle part. YAY !! Can't wait to try it!❤❤❤😊
Love the one flying geese with no waste. Making a half square triangle with the part not needed. First time I’ve seen that.
Gotta watch you more my new friend !😊❤
Thank you for sharing these different ways. Never to old to learn something new. Your choice of fabric is very nice. 👍👍
As always Lisa, you rock big time, love you!
AWESOME! This to me eliminates excess cutting...very straight forward. Thanks you!
Great instructions - thank you.
Love the idea of keeping that corner for another project. No waste!
Thank you for the smooth way to create the block. Take care of yourself, and have a blessed day.
Hi Lisa. glad I'm seeing this.
Thank you lisa this video just made making flying geese blocks eaiser.
THANK YOU so MUCH I am new to quilting and this will help me again thank you for sharing
I like the first way
Thank you Lisa for this video. Iv'e been looking for a video to make 12-in flying geese. I should have known to come to your site in the beginning. Wasn't sure if you had a detailed instruction for flying geese this size. You always have just the right project for whatever I need to make. You explained it so easily. That even though I haven't done flying geese I now can.
Thank you Lisa...this is so informative and very helpful!
Thank you Lisa❤
Great tutorial and I like your fabric choice! Thank you for posting this video!
Thank you so much for your tips. Love the tiny scrap fabric to start, works like a charm. I enjoy your videos. 🥰

Thank you so much!
Another block to try to master thank you Lisa
Your Juki looks like my Juki HZL-F600. It’s an excellent machine.
Love this video…..great tips and instruction. Hopefully I can make a flying geese block with accurate sizing now. Thanks for sharing.
'I thought it was a solid' glad it isn't just me!
Thank You 🙏/Gisela in Sweden 🇸🇪
I enjoy all your seeing tips there so helpful , thank you.
loved it, liked and shared thank you
Antler Designs Simple Folded Corners - large offers great way to trim flying geese given the 1/4 inch marking that you can align with your seam and trim perfect 1/4" top of point and of course all the way around. Four at a time rocks, too. I use dabs of glue on the center to secure the small squares. Keeps everything true and flat. And the STS method (starch the ___) out of fabric prior is a godsend.
Wow!!! Thank you Thank you sooo much.
Hi Lisa! Gotta ask, what's with the little black rectangles of fabric at the beginning and end of each seam you sew? Can't figure it out!

Hi Judith, I think this will help explain: kzread.info/dash/bejne/iZ5-krODg9jeiso.html
I enjoy watching you even though I am not sewing anymore. I am sorry but had to drop my support on Patreon as I don’t use it at all. Please it’s nothing personal at all.

The fact that you still join in and watch means SO MUCH TO ME Sheila. Thank you for supporting me on Patreon and supporting me as a creative. I totally understand my dear and I'm just glad to see your sweet face here when you come by!
Lisa, when you construct your t-shirt quilts, do you use a 1/4” seam allowance or a 1/2” seam allowance?

I use a 1/4" seam :)

@@TheQuiltmakerHomestead ok! I’ve always felt silly for forgetting to use a 1/2” seam allowance. So far the t-shirt quilts have been fine. Thanks Lisa!
Hi Lisa. Do you wash your fabrics before you start using it, regardless of the color? Do you use cotton or polyester thread? Thanks! ......... truly, I've got to stop watching your videos.....laundry's got to be done sometime! LOL!

Hi Kim :) I personally am not a pre-washer, although MANY are. I tend to use polyester threads more than cotton. I'm so glad that I'm not the only one with laundry taking a back seat these days hahahaha.

@@TheQuiltmakerHomestead Hi Lisa. Thanks for your response. Wow....it seems both of us are on the same page! After all, why would you want to wash more than what's already been sitting in the laundry basket? I use polyester thread as well, but didn't know if it was the preferred kind for quilting. Thanks again Lisa!
