    This seems like an exciting and adventurous aviation event, flying through Star Wars Canyon. Safety and situational awareness are paramount in such low-level flights.

    Spent a day there in August of 2017. It was 117 degrees out there that day but was so worth it! I got some amazing photos of VFA-14 Super Hornets, VX-9 Growlers, 416th F-16D, Marine F/A-18Cs, a C-17 over the top and wrapped up with the F-15SA from Edwards!!! Will never forget it!

    Last I heard the military was limited to 1000 feet above the rim (maybe it's been lowered since then). This was a non-military flight so no military restrictions applied.

    WHY are you claiming that the L-39 is a “fighter jet”? It clearly is not. Oh that’s right, the lie sounds cooler and gets more clicks than “trainer jet”.

    Why are you all wearing masks?

  • @speedbrake

    @speedbrake

    8 ай бұрын

    Warman wears one out of habit (Air Force). Other advantages: if you get smoke in the cockpit, you can turn on oxygen and continue to breathe; if you're pulling high G's you can use oxygen for increased G tolerance and better mental performance; if you have a depressurization event, you can remain conscious; and if you suffer a bird strike, the mask can cushion your face from direct impact from the bird.

  • @KuostA

    @KuostA

    so is the oxygen always flowing, or only when u turn it on, or only when u draw in a breath, or how does ethat work? @@speedbrake

  • @speedbrake

    @speedbrake

    3 ай бұрын

    @@KuostA Normally oxygen is only flowing when it's turned on, and when you're breathing in - that's what the regulator does. Similar to a scuba diving regulator. There's also an emergency setting where you can have it free flow, which might be useful in a situation like smoke in the cockpit. For the flight in this video, we didn't have oxygen turned on at all, because we didn't need it (we weren't flying high enough to need it). But Warman's microphone is in his mask, so he has to wear it to use his microphone.

    Can you make the subtitles optional? I deal with them by pushing them off the bottom of the screen. They are just a distraction. Swapping between the briefing and the flight, also may be great editing and production, but it just makes me skip the briefing. And in the end, it's like a modern action film, or an episode of top gear. There's so much cutting backwards and forwards and from inside to outside that there's no continuity. Sorry, great video production, but for me the final product sucks. I am sure you had a great day, but with the inline adverts and the broken timeline the overall effect for me is not a channel I would continue to follow. And as I watch the end... the too loud music? I'd rather hear the jet. Unsubscribed.
