I love how some people equate the NHL draft to the NFL draft. It would be a whole different ball game if the NFL drafted seniors out of high school. Luchenko was one of the youngest and fastest players in the draft. Did great in combines. After first 10, 11 picks the draft was a free for all. Danny obviously is being patient and putting more emphasis in next years much better draft. I’d imagine Danny might part with a 1st and 2nd for next year for a roster player if possible & still have 4 picks in next years draft.

When you have as many holes as the Flyers do, you take BPA. They didn't.

Solid commentary. I think this draft lacked the excitement of last year’s draft but we had a top 10 pick last year at 7. I like all the picks and commend them for sticking to their guns which shows they did their own scouting and weren’t reliant on other’s views/opinions. Plus they set up next year’s draft, a better draft, quite well.

People need to realize that we're not just getting Luchenko at 13, we're getting Luchenko at 13 AND a draft pick for 2025. Which is a huge added bonus for a player of his skill level.

Thought they traded that 2025 3rd round pick they got from the wild, to move up in the 2nd round, but still got another 1st round pick from Oilers, it was a good draft, Jett has alot of potential. People hated the Bonk pick last year and now it looks like a great pick. Fans just freak out because flyers dont always draft the big draft name that they know and have heard of before. Give it time, fans wanted nolan patrick BAD and that pick backfired especially because of how amazing that draft was!

Luchamko lacks a shot that transitions to the NHL and SEVERELY lacks decision making skills. But he works hard. (Per some of the best SCOUTS in the world) 🤦🏻‍♂️🤡🤡🤡 Rubstov 2.0

No playoffs. No top5 picks. (In how many years now) No future 1C. No future 2C. No elite potential prospects (minus Michkov) No future 1D. No future star goaltender. Max CAPPED. No trades for Elite talents in how many years? A team full of overpaid mediocre bottom 6/bottom pairv players. And they pass on a top5 Elite Level defensive prospect for a 2nd-3rs round MUCKER 5 years away from our bottom line. Hextall 2.0. Meanwhile No McGroarty. No Zegras, No Pinto. No Necas. NO high 1st round picks. This management is a joke. 🤡💩 Hextall 2.0 And Luchanko was ranked AS LOW as the 40s-50s. I don't work for The Flyers do IDGAF!!! This draft was 🤡💩. This REBRAND of a "rebuild" is 🤡💩. 🤷‍♂️ I was LIED TOO and this IS NOT what I wanted.

Yeah, they should have taken the best available and if you can get a TOP elite talent at 13 then get him and use him as trade bait next season to get a seasoned elite player or multiple top talents. IF he isn't the position or doesn't fit what you want, who cares! THAT makes more sense to me.

Komecny is NOT THAT good! He's a 60 point average guy. NOT ELITE. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤡🤷‍♂️

You can't make this 💩 up. The Flyers have struck out over and over and over and over. I thought this was a "new era". Oh yeah drafting Makar or Buium is SUCH a RISK but Luchanko is a sure thing! 👌🤦🏻‍♂️😂🤣 Sure thing bottom 6 player at BEST. Ridiculous. I can't even keep watching this 🤡💩. 👌
