Thank you so much for making this video. I started a counted canvas three years ago, and gave up after a few weeks. Now I know its because I hadn't prepared the canvas properly and the instructions (or lack of) in the kit were not as clear and detailed as the ones in the kit you showed us in your first video extra. I will not mention the designer's name as her patterns, floss and designs are lovely. I am going to make another attempt at re-starting the canvas, but feel better prepared for having watched your video. Thanks again!

This is SOOO helpful! I’ve been going nuts trying to draw the squares on my pattern for “Inchies” by Kathy Rees!! I THINK I finally got them correctly after watching this video a third time (lol!). It’s very hard for me to “get” the whole counting the threads vs the holes like in cross stitch! 😮 Thank you for these vids!!! ❤

Found you today per daydream stitcher . I Love cross stitch I used to stitch on plastic canvas also. The waste knot is awesome idea. I want to try this . What do you use to mark your grid? Just a regular pencil? Thanks for a great tutorial!

Thanks for watching. I used a regular pencil to mark the gridlines on the mono canvas. My stitching covers it so I don't worry about it.
