Can’t wait to see all the dimensions kits you’re going to start this summer! I love their kits. Might pull out some of my dimensions wips and stitch with you 😊

If I were a Dimensions kit gal, I’d start one a week with you! I just started over 60 new starts so😅- love new starts. In my mind I keep hearing Cat Stevens’ song “If You Want to Sing Out, Sing Out” If you (we) want all the new starts, start ‘em😊

Great video - I love Dimensions kits. I’m currently stitching Aurora (with the Polar Bear) and I’ve completed Dolphin’s Domain, Max the Cat, A Treasured Time and a few smaller ones. I have a few in my stash to start, but not the one that I’d love to stitch and am looking out for - Provence Garden. I don’t kit up at all - I just snip the threads as I need them and go (or pull a thread out from a bundle). I also start in the middle, and I stitch one colour at a time across the whole picture. Looking forward to seeing future videos.

❤❤❤I had no idea you could email Simplicity for a pdf. Thanks for sharing that. I’m working on my first full coverage but it’s made by Candamar Designs called Welcome to My Garden from 1999. I found it on Etsy. I’m also working on a stocking from Dimensions and its mostly full coverage except for some of the background.

I have a few Dimensions Kits, but they intimidate me!! Hopefully, I will get inspired to give them another try. On another note, Dementia is a horrible disease. My mom passed away 3 months ago after 3 years of hell. Fortunately, I was able to get her into a memory care boarding cottage that was 5 minutes from my house. It was a relief when she finally let go. My dad also has dementia, but not to the extreme that mom had. The stress associated with elder care is not to be taken lightly. I couldn't have gotten through most of this without my husband and friends. Three of my sisters were not there at all. The fourth added to the pain I was going through, so basically I handle all of this on my own. The most important thing, in my opinion, is for you to take care of yourself.

Your project is beautiful. I think this will bring you some peace and distraction. I’m so sorry about your folks. It is a heavy load but it shows how much you love them. Getting them the care and acknowledging you can’t do it all is good for your mental and physical health. Take care. Kate.

Hi Angela, I am so glad I found your channel! I love Dimensions kits and have some. I didn't know about getting the pdf.! Can you share the email address for Simplicity to get a pdf? I do understand about caring for parents and dementia. I had a long stretch of caring for my Mom with Alzheimers. All we can do is be guided by our love for them and see that they are cared for. I am glad they are in good places. I know how hard it can be. I like your tip about starting in the middle! and how you kit up the strands with a tag!

Hello, new sub here! I've spent the last six months getting back into needlework of every kind, including Dimensions kits! Mine, however happen to be needlepoint pillows. I've finished one and am about .001 % on the other. I've also finished one 90's Bucilla needlepoint pillow and am 50% on another. Bucilla needlepoint charts are hugely better than Dimensions, but I love dimensions designs. Wondering if the cross stitch kits are similar? As to cross stitch, I"m mostly working on patterns adapated from needlepoint books, and several free charts from DMC. Hope to make some videos soon - I sure enjoyed yours! Thank you.

I feel bad hearing both of your parents are suffering with dementia. My mother and FNL both suffered with it. I agree that cross stitching is good therapy.
