FlorenceBallardA3060 Reviews: Dylon All-In-1 Machine Wash Dye (Intense Black) Demonstration & Review

Ғылым және технология

Short notice: Unfortunately I do not take requests on this channel, mainly due to them being time consuming and sadly having a rather busy schedule. However, please enjoy the content I post and thank you for watching!
---------------------------------------------------
A new product means a new review video! An experimental one today, for anyone with faded garments, not wishing to fork out for new clothes. Why not revive their colour with this fabulous All-in-1 Dye from Dylon? Using the colour Intense Black, I revive a very faded pair of jeans back to their almost new colour. I also demonstrate how to use it in 5 simple steps, for those who are using it for the first time.
Thank you and enjoy! :)

    Hi guys, I used Dylon some grey, for the first time, ( never dyed , anything before, well not since the 70;s ) I had a pair of light cream ,shorts, and a v light grey ,T shirt, I followed the instructions, to the letter, and the results, are. Fantastic, so pleased, and absolutely no residue, left in the washing machine, that was my biggest fear, but , now I have used this product, £5/7 , I will definitely use it again, a definite 5 star rating, from me, have a go it’s great fun , Peter.

    Thanks for the best video, on how to do this. I've seen a couple of short videos, that left me none the wiser! I bought some the same dye, today, and said to the woman, in the shop, what stops ALL the dye from being flushed away, when my machine empties the dirty water, then refills it again? Surely there wouldn't be any dye left, after the first emptying/filling up??? And if there is, wouldn't the machine filling up again, dilute the dye, making it weaker? I've so many questions. lol

    I'm looking to dye a pair of chinos black, I wondered how the Dylon all-in-one intense black dye worked and if it got the garment black, not dark gray, because it's for work. Although I think your video is excellent, very clear & easy and very well demonstrated, I must say I'm not impressed with the actual dye: it could be the lighting or camera, but your jeans look the same colour as before you dyed them. It says 'intense black' on the pod, but it doesn't look like it to me.

    He did a quick wash which is probably fine for what he wanted, a more washed out look. It's a much shorter wash so the Dye has less time to be absorbed into the fabric. If you did it as recommended and ran the full Cotton 40 wash then a much darker colour would be achieved...

    @@HooverA3060 interesting. I have a sweater that's all black, and it's a 65% polyster and 35% cotton. It has a bleach stain on the right sleeve only, it's pretty small and I'm trying too dye the bleach only. I was thinking about using the Dylon black which is the best black dye I could find but use it on the stove top instead, or maybe I should wash it with hot water in the washing machine. I read somewhere which said, you need to heat the polyster up to be able to allow the dye to soak into it. Tbh I'm not sure, never dyed anything before.

    Absolutely not :). Washing machine glass is designed to be shatterproof against clothing material including buckles and zips. So a bit of plastic has no affect on damage at all to a machine. • @HooverA3060

    Жыл бұрын

    Yeah, it's really bad that it does that. This has been an issue since the day they connected the boiler to our U-bend and unfortunately seems to have no way of fixing it, there has been been blockage but, it requires the entire stack system in the house to be replaced and our council have been useless at doing that for the past 10 years. Water will not back-flow in to the machines, simply because they have a non-return flap on the pump, so the water will only go in the direction of the drain and not the machine, but it's still disgusting tbh because it brings up everything from the pipes

    Nope they were actually darker than they were before. I think you're forgetting that the end result was filmed in a room with a 91W light bulb which will of course make it look a lot brighter than normal. Also you must realise that camera's do not pick up colour 100% precisely as they are to the naked eye, hence you're seeing a different shade on here

    so you read the instructions then just do it your way maybe that's why they are gray and not black as for water coming up your sink you have an issue there that should not happen with a health problem possible. rinse is cold and you not going to clean the machine very well the detergent is not effective at cold temperature.

  • @HooverA3060

    @HooverA3060

    Nope I read the instructions and do it exactly the way it says. Think you’re forgetting that detergent of today is designed to work at colder temperatures. Obviously you have never used this dye before, because if you have, you'll understand that no matter what colour dye you use, you never achieve the exact tone of colour that the dye says it is. You'll either have a slightly lighter shade or darker shade depending on what you use. Previously using this also achieved a charcoal colour. Temperature does not matter when cleaning out a machine with dye, Dye is not temperature sensitive and will clean out after 1 or 2 rinses. I think you should use this dye first before actually making a comment to someone who has actually used it...

    Well, the difference in your comparison is "cremated" remains are not all one piece, rather scattered bits of ash. Whereas a pair of jeans are all one piece and smoothly connected together so, if that's what you're seeing as "cremated remains", I'm very worried for you...
