I'm reminded of a picture I took of my brother at a local lake. He was wading in the water as he moved towards a sunset. 11 months after I took that picture, he was killed in a car accident. I like to think that was a moment I captured of what it was like for him to go home whilst this music played. Love and miss you Bubba! You are vibrating in the divine light of electric energy. You are vibrating at a higher frequency. We will be reunited when I return home.

This was the song we danced to at my wedding Dec 2010…… I remember telling myself to stop for a minute and look around at family and friends all together, all happy - for just a few hours that night, everything was perfect - it was a perfect moment …. What I would give to be back in that moment, even if it was only for a minute; to see my grandmother, laughing, to hug her and breath her smell in just one more time ….. my husband ended up being a cruel, cold and abusive man - the very first time was that night after the wedding …. and just got worse …… 4 years later he had terrorised my son and I and then was gone ….. I wish I could go back to that night - and bottle that feeling of contentment and peace, happiness - the people I love close by - one night, when everything was perfect- and I didn’t have to miss anyone …… and my heart wasn’t broken … Still the beautiful song I have ever heard …… takes my breath away…..

I can't explain exactly, but i SWEAR when she opens up at 4:22 it sounds like a clear night full of stars. The harp in the background twinkles like every light you can see, and her voice feels like the sudden rush of how grand and vast and beautiful everything is. Every time I hear it, I feel like my heart is going to explode and leave only stardust behind.

Her ability to captivate an audience is rare in this era. She can do it with her voice and the projection of her will/charisma into the audience.

I was fortunate enough to grow up in the 1950/60/early 70s when that post war period exploded with talent on the pop scene, a period not to be repeated again but every so often comes an outstanding talent that bursts through and can be considered amongst those giants that I grew up with and she certainly ranks amongst the greats.

I have only just discovered this too. I cant believe how amazing and beautiful it is xx
