Nope ,this was sung during false spring at harrenhal .Rhaegar sings this during feast and it is said that lynna cries hearing the song and falls in love with him,after that they dont see eachother for a year and then he abducts her (I doubt that's tha case ) and both move to dorne, after almost an year again the mad kings asks rhaegar to stop baratheon conquest(as mad king decides to kill both the starks who came to seek punishment to rhaegar for lynna's abduction jon arrys raises the banner to defend thier honor so thats what starts the barathron rebellion) ,that's when he dies at battle of trident . Also,the story behind the song - Jenny supposedly is the ghost who makes rhaegar believe in prophesies .The fire in summerhall kills almost every targaryen except one -Rhaegar .So he dedicates this song to to Jenny .Jenny was his Jon's aunt who married Duncan, who also died in Summerhall, so Jenny is the ghost who want to protect the promised king aka azor ahai aka jonsnow to fullfill the prophesies by killing the night king .

honestly my two absolute favourite things on earth. GOT and Florence. stunning. no one could simply deliver this song as haunting as florence

it would be so great. I fear she will never win a grammy for best album because every year there is some mega-hit album that catches all the attention, while she makes this intimistic music that is not for the mainstream public. I mean yes, she sells million of copies and she is beloved, but her music is too complex to generate that kind of easy hype. having her winning for best song written for visual media might be a cool way to give her her due.

You know when an artist is truly an artist, when they sound better live than on a studio. This is one of those rare occasions that I will give my thumbs up 👍, and 20 stars. Bravo 👏, she have the kind of voice that touch your soul. Hopefully she get the fame she deserves. This is real music and real talent.

I love how the audience kept silence during the whole song, they truly appreciated the atmosphere of the song. I don't mind if people sing along, I just hate when people unnecessarily scream at subtle moments. Like at 3:24 and 3:50, when there was just her voice, which is absolutely beautiful, no one ruined that with their scream.

The first time I heard of a show called "Game of Thrones" was in 2011, when I watched the trailer for Season 2 without having a single clue about it. And then I heard the song: Seven Devils. That was it. 8 years later GoT is my all- time favorite show, and there is a copy of the deluxe edition album "Ceremonials" in my house. GoT would have never caught my attention, if it wasn't for Florence + the Machine and I would miss out on this phenomenal series. So, thank you Florence❤

This song is all about living in the past. Kinda appropriate to the conversation here. Many of us wish we could go back to when the promise of this being the best TV series ever made was real. That’s the ghost we dance with that we never wanted to leave.
